Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Bazargan Border Terminal, Iran to Tabriz, Iran
• Tabriz ,Gateway to Iran Silk Road! Tabriz is easily accessible by plane and bus from Turkey. It is a large, modern Iranian city. It lies on the ancient Silk Road and its historical position is measured by the huge bazaar with caravanserai. Still Tabriz is an important economic trading.
Day 2: Tabriz, Iran
A fascinating bazaar, a deeply human heart and passionately helpful freelance guides make this gigantic, sprawling city a surprisingly positive introduction to Iran. It had a spell as the Iranian capital and has proven extremely influential in the country’s recent history. Sometimes stiflingly smoggy and hot in summer, it can be freezing cold in winter, but the Azari welcome is generally very warm any time of year. Day 3: Tabriz, Iran to Tehran, Iran
Don’t miss an excursion to Kandovan rocky village , Iran’s ‘Cappadocia’. A rocky village on river bank. From centuries ago people have carved their houses inside conical rocks. Evening by sleeper train from Tabriz step onto the train to Tehran. Formerly a camel trek of 15 days. Now within 13 hours you will arrive. You will spend the night in a sleeping compartment and in the morning you are in the early morning outside the train station of Tehran.
Day 4: Tehran, Iran
Experience Tehran is an “experience” not to forget. For Solo travelers Tehran is too big and there is too much to do for a few days. So choose from a museum, a park, the bazaar, a palace, a tea house, an art gallery, a kebab shop or be surprised by spontaneous encounters with the surprisingly helpful Tehrani.
Day 5: Tehran, Iran
• Tehran: The City Of Museums! Tehran is the capital of Iran, in the north of the country. A modern metropolis where more than 10 million people live and work. The economic heart of the city is the bazaar in the south. Its central Golestan Palace complex, with its ornate rooms and marble throne, was the seat of power of the Qajar dynasty. The National Jewelry Museum holds many of the Qajar monarchs’ jewels, while the National Museum of Iran has artefacts dating back to Paleolithic times. The Milad Tower offers panoramic views over the city. In the city’s east, the Reza Abbasi Museum showcases Persian art over many centuries. Expansive Laleh Park is home to the Carpet Museum of Iran and the striking Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art. West of the centre, the dramatic Azadi Tower sits atop the Azadi Museum, which displays objects representing the country’s history. In the Alborz Mountains to the north of the city, Jamshidieh Park has a waterfall and ponds, plus traditional tea houses and hiking trails up the slopes of Kolakchal Mountain. The Tochal Tele cabin gondola lift connects the city to the Tochal ski resort and the Abshar Dogholoo twin waterfall.
Day 6: Tehran, Iran to Kashan, Iran
Tehran – Kashan by train ,The intercity bus or a private driver to Kashan is faster. But the train is much more fun, and You go in the afternoon or evening from Tehran and arrive about three hours later to Kashan . At the station, you can easily and cheaply take a taxi. The hotel room is already booked. • Kashan; Undiscovered Gem of Cultural Treasures! Kashan is a medium-sized desert town in central Iran. The name is synonymous with antiques and it is not strange because during excavations objects have been found from 6000 BC. The old centre of this traditional city has largely retained its typical desert architecture. Hidden in the narrow streets are beautiful merchant houses, witnesses of a glorious past.
Day 7: Kashan, Iran
You’ll stay in Kashan, a thousand years old desert city on the Silk Road on the edge of the Dasht-e Kavir desert. Here you will stay overnight in a cozy traditional hotel , once a merchant’s house. After a good rest and a cup of Iranian tea, you are ready to explore the city. You can walk because you are staying in the old town of Kashan in the bazaar within walking distance. Within walking distance are among other Tabatabai and Borujerdi merchant houses, Amir Ahmad Bath, Agha Bozorg mosque and handicraft bazaar. Around the old town is the Finn Persian garden complex and the remains of the Tepe Sialk Zigurrat, an Iranian mountain temple built around 3000 BC. Day 8: Kashan, Iran to Yazd, Iran
Kashan – Yazd by express train After Kashan exploration, You get train on the silk route to Yazd. In this day train, you pull the rugged desert scenery pass you by. With perhaps a few camels on the road .
Day 9: Yazd, Iran
Yazd: A Desert Paradise, UNSCO Heritage! Yazd is a special city in Iran and the centre of modern Zoroastrianism. Yazd is considered by many the oldest one piece inhabited city in the world. This historic desert town is due to its unique location spared destruction by earthquakes, wars and invasions (such as Genghis Khan). The typical Adobe desert architecture taking a walk through the labyrinth of alleys an enchanting experience. Yazd hardly knows high rise making the view from the rooftop is breathtaking, especially at dawn and at the fall of the night. The Azan call to prayer from the minarets takes you on a journey to a nostalgic past. Yazd is located on the ancient Silk Road and has ever Marcopolo here spent the night in a Caravanserai. The old town with its traditional houses joined together is a living monument to himself. Some so-called "friendship" alleys you cannot pass each other without having to socialize with each other. Day 10: Yazd, Iran

Day 11: Yazd, Iran to Mashhad, Iran
Yazd – Mashhad by first class train get ready for another long train journey through the desert. This time to the holy city of Mashhad in the Turkmen border. This train is equipped with all conveniences including Sleeping facilities. Along with Iranian pilgrims, eat in the restaurant and you philosophize about life. In the dawn awaits a new city.
Day 12: Mashhad, Iran
sanctuary Mashhad is the 2nd city in Iran and owes its fame to Imam Reza, the 8th-schiitische successor to the Prophet Muhammad. In the 8th century, he became a martyr during his stay poisoning with grapes. Each year millions of pilgrims gather in this immense mausoleum and mosque, the largest in the world with an area of 598.657 m 2 . Also you will visit his eternal resting place. This is easier with a local Iranian who does the talking for you at the entrance. Other celebrities from Mashad are the epic poet Ferdowsi who lived around the year 1000 and Omar Khayyam, the Persian poet and polymath. Their memory is kept alive with mausoleums in the historic towns of Tus and Neyshabur.
Day 13: Mashhad, Iran to Bajgiran border バジギラン国境, Iran
Continue your journey With the satisfaction of a pilgrim who has reached his goal, leaving Mashhad Iran as final destination of this train. You have the opportunity to travel to Turkmenistan or travel back to Tehran. By train, by plane or by land through the Golestan park or the Caspian Sea.
