About this host
Maryam runs a small tour company in Tehran that has been organizing trips across Iran since 1995. She does not guide or drive herself, but works with a network of local guides and drivers who cover the country from the Caspian forests to the central deserts.
Her listings show a wide range: cultural circuits through Isfahan, Shiraz, Yazd and Kashan, desert safaris in Maranjab and the Lut and Dasht-e Kavir, mountain treks on Damavand, Alam Kouh and Sabalan, multi-day cycling routes, nomad and village stays, and shorter food and city tours. She also puts together more specific trips on request, including photography itineraries built around small towns and everyday life, and routes tracing Sufi heritage sites in Khorasan.
Trips are run with private transport, hotel or homestay stays depending on the route, and can include visa invitation letters, airport transfers, train tickets and local guiding in several languages. Maryam herself handles the planning and communication with travelers, adjusting itineraries based on their preferences, pace and interests, and she stays in touch for support before and during the trip.
