Two-day hiking tour around Uhum offers you a great chance to get to know the culture and daily livelihood activities of people living in a remote village of the Nuratau Mountains range. You can watch or participate in the preparation of traditional meals from home-produced vegetables during your stay with local a family. You will explore the Nuratau Mountains on a guided hike to the Nuratau Nature Reserve.
At 9:00 be picked up by our driver from your hotel in Bukhara and drive to Uhum village. Arrive in Uhum village by lunchtime and settle in the homestay. In the afternoon, walk around to get to know the village and people relax on the tapchan or supa under the walnut trees. Help or watch to prepare the traditional dishes. Please note that on this day you explore the village on your own, and the guided tour starts on the next day.
After breakfast, start the easy guided hike to the Nuratau Nature Reserve. See ancient irrigation channels, a petroglyph site, and the mausoleum of Islamic priests. Return to the homestay for lunch. Leave for Samarkand in the afternoon. Arrive in Samarkand at about 17.00
