We also act as a Community Based Tourism (CBT) organization promoting mountain homestay and other rural tourism services in the Nuratau Mountains of Uzbekistan. During the tour, you can take a walk to the desert village ‘Dungalak’ (4 km / one way) to get to know the daily livelihood activities and land-use practices of the desert inhabitants. Ride on the camel or drive by car to explore the country's largest man-made Lake Aydarkul located 8 km to the southeast of the Yurt camp. You will also enjoy the evening around the campfire listening to the traditional songs of the local bards.

3 Day Yurt Stay Hiking And Lake Aydarkul Tour

Visit ancient Nurata city, stay in the luxury mountain yurt camp, and explore the Nuratau Mountains on an easy to medium-difficulty hike with this Yurt stay, hiking, and Lake Aydarkul 3-day tour. The tour also includes a visit to Lake Aydarkul – the largest saline lake in Uzbekistan. You will be staying in traditionally decorated yurts, depending on the size; there are two to four beds in each yurt. The mountain yurt camp has an onsite restaurant, an ablution block that consists of showers and toilets, and an outdoor swimming pool. During this tour, you can take a walk to the village of Sayyod and get to know the daily livelihood activities and land-use practices of rural Uzbek people. The tour can be done starting both from Samarkand and Bukhara.

Welcome to Sayyod Yurt Camp, our luxury mountain yurt camp where we offer a yurt stay experience, hiking, horse riding, biking, and cooking classes. We have 12 traditionally decorated yurts installed in the camp. Our yurt camp has a restaurant, a modern ablution block, and a swimming pool. The camp is a 3-hour drive from Samarkand and it takes 5 hours to get to Bukhara from the camp. During your stay in our yurt camp, you may also visit Lake Aydarkul on a day trip.

Me and my gf did a tour to Yurta camp at Aydarkul Lake (Bukhara-Aydarkul-Samarcand) The tour was fantastic, it was very pleasant to visit the places indicated by the driver, who although didn't speak much English was super kind and helpful. The yurt experience was very enjoyable, as were the camel ride and the trip to the lake. One thing that could be improved is the accuracy in the description of the activities, because on the second day we arrived in Samarkand around 2 PM instead of around 5 PM as indicated, therefore missing the picnic at the lake. In any case, the overall judgment is absolutely positive!

It was miracle to me to visit the nice place and have fun as I had had only a bit time to prepare. Walking in the desert was exciting and relaxing. The night was beautiful and exotic. I really appreciate the tour and the driver. He was really a nice guide to show me a wonderful village and historical places and diligent translator there as well as a good driver.

Great trip for three days to Sentob village. Drivers really friendly and professional. Very safe drivers. The accommodation at Rahima's homestay was in beautiful stone buildings - quite basic, but clean and comfortable - that is the point of going to the villages. Hot water which was a pleasant surprise! Great walk into the mountains. Host really friendly and had dinner with locals. Food was AMAZING and all locally produced. Really recommend. Responsible travel very responsive and helpful and helped us with a short notice change of plans/schedule which they handled professionally and easily. For us, this excursion was probably the highlight of our 10 day trip to Uzbekistan and a welcome break from the most touristic spots.

We had an amazing organized private 8 day tour along the Silk route. Sherzod arranged everything on very short notice for us because we decided 2 weeks in advance to have a last minute holiday.
