2 Day Tour To Childukhtaron
About this tour
Childukhtaron means 40 girls. According to a legend 40 brave girls had to fight against conquerors. The battle was unequal, and the girls had to retreat to the mountains. They knew that they could become victims of invaders, and did not want to be captured. At the last moment, they turned to God and asked to turn them into stones and thereby save them from shame and violence. The prayer of the girls was heard, and they became rocks.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Dushanbe, Tajikistan to Childukhtaron, Muminabad, Tajikistan
We leave early morning from Dushanbe. The road will take us 6 hours of drive through the hills and plains. We reach Childukharon afternoon, set up our camp, prepare fire and cook our meal.
Day 2: Childukhtaron, Muminabad, Tajikistan to Dushanbe, Tajikistan
After having breakfast in the morning we will go hiking to the see 40 girls turned into stones from a closer view. And afternoon we leave back to Dushanbe.
