Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Almaty, Kazakhstan to Assy Observatory, Kazakhstan

Asy valley is a part of a National reserve, and is also famous for its wildlife: eagles, falcons, foxes and marmots live here protected and safe. There are one of the biggest Astronomical Observatory of the region is located - huge dome is seen from any point of the valley. In summer period you will also meet white yurtas in small cliffs around the lake so have a good chance to explore the life of local nomads. A beautiful place - the Bartogay reservoir, where the entire city is fed by water and where the famous (Big Almaty Canal) begins its existence.
