5 Days Turkey Triangle tour is a great combination of Ephesus, Pamukkale, and Cappadocia regions with a departure and arrival to Istanbul.
Start and end in Istanbul! We will take a flight to the Cappadocia region, which is famous for the fairy chimneys and hot-air balloon flights. We will be staying in a cave hotel as a special class accommodation. In our programme, we will discover the ancient city of Ephesus and Pamukkale which is known as Cotton castle. Healing springs which have a rare beauty in the world as a result of geological activities have been one of the most interesting places of Anatolia since the Hellenistic period due to its advancement in textiles and its importance in the religious aspect.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: İstanbul, Turkey to Ephesus Ancient Theatre, Acarlar, Turkey
Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel transferred to the airport for your flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, you will be met and drive to Ephesus ancient city. See the Ancient Roman City of Ephesus, to explore the Arcadian Way, Roman Baths, Temple of Hadrian, the Celsius Library, and the Antique Theatre. In the afternoon visit the famous Sirince village with the cute village houses. At the end of the tour transfer back to your hotel. Dinner & overnight in Kusadasi Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Day 2: Kuşadası, Turkey to Travertines of Pamukkale (thermal pools), Turkey
After breakfast, the first visit will be to Hierapolis, the ancient Greco-Roman city on top of hot springs. You will see the large necropolis, Great Baths, Frontinus Street, Theatre, Martyrion of St. Phillip, and the antique pool also known as Cleopatra’s pool. Finally be amazed by travertines, (the terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing water) on which you can enjoy a barefooted walk. Dinner & overnight in Kusadasi Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Day 3: Kuşadası, Turkey to Cappadocia, Turkey
After breakfast, transferred to Izmir airport and we take a flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, welcomed and transferred to your cave hotel in Cappadocia and overnight in Cappadocia Meals: Breakfast
Day 4: Cappadocia, Turkey
You can book an early morning optional hot air balloon flight tour to enjoy the magnificent view of the valleys and the region by your guide. After breakfast, we will visit Devrent and Pasabagi valleys, to see the amazing fairy chimneys of Cappadocia. Then head to the pottery town of Avanos. Watch the potters at work using kick wheels, a technique that has remained unchanged for generations. After lunch, visit Goreme Open Air Museum for the world’s most important Byzantine cave churches and the best-preserved cave wall paintings and frescos. We will visit Underground city and discover how people live there Finally, you will be driven to Uchisar Castle, the highest point of the region, where we will have a fabulous panoramic view over Cappadocia. Overnight in Cappadocia Meals: Breakfast & Lunch
Day 5: Cappadocia, Turkey to İstanbul, Turkey
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Cappadocia airport for your flight to Istanbul and upon arrival in Istanbul, our services will conclude. Meals: Breakfast
