6 Days Cappadocia Pamukkale Ephesus Tour From Istanbul is a great combination of Cappadocia, Ephesus, and Pamukkale regions with a departure and arrival to Istanbul. We will take a flight to the Cappadocia region, which is famous for the fairy chimneys and hot-air balloon flights. We will be staying in a cave hotel as a special class accommodation. In our program, we will discover the ancient city of Ephesus and Pamukkale which is known as Cotton castle. Healing springs which have a rare beauty in the world as a result of geological activities have been one of the most interesting places of Anatolia since the Hellenistic period due to its advancement in textiles and its importance in the religious aspect
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: İstanbul, Turkey to Cappadocia, Turkey
After your breakfast, at your hotel, you will be transferred to the airport and take a flight to Cappadocia and upon arrival, welcome and transfer to your cave hotel. This afternoon, you can join an optional activity tour as ATV Safari or horse riding tours. Overnight in Cappadocia Meals: -
Day 2: Cappadocia, Turkey
You can book an early morning optional hot air balloon flight tour to enjoy the magnificent view of the valleys and the region by your guide. After breakfast, we will visit Devrent and Pasabagi valleys, to see the amazing fairy chimneys of Cappadocia. Then head to the pottery town of Avanos. Watch the potters at work using kick wheels, a technique that has remained unchanged for generations. After lunch, visit Goreme Open Air Museum for the world’s most important Byzantine cave churches and the best-preserved cave wall paintings and frescos. We will visit Underground city and discover how people live there Finally, you will be driven to Uchisar Castle, the highest point of the region, where we will have a fabulous panoramic view over Cappadocia. Day 3: Cappadocia, Turkey to Travertines of Pamukkale (thermal pools), Turkey
After breakfast, we depart for Pamukkale and on our route, we will visit the city of Konya, which is the home of the Whirling Dervishes, a religious order founded by the Sufi (Muslim sage), Mevlâna in the 13th century. We will visit Selimiye mosque and Mevlana Museum and transfer to your hotel in Pamukkale. Overnight in Pamukkale Meals: Breakfast & Lunch & Dinner
Day 4: Travertines of Pamukkale (thermal pools), Turkey to Kuşadası, Turkey
After breakfast, the first visit will be to Hierapolis, the ancient Greco-Roman city on top of hot springs. You will see the large necropolis, Great Baths, Frontinus Street, Theatre, Martyrion of St. Phillip, and the antique pool also known as Cleopatra’s pool. Finally be amazed by travertines, (the terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing water) on which you can enjoy a barefooted walk. End of the tour, transferred to Kusadasi. Overnight in Kusadasi Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 5: Kuşadası, Turkey to Ephesus Ancient Theatre, Acarlar, Turkey
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and see the Ancient Roman City of Ephesus, to explore the Arcadian Way, Roman Baths, Temple of Hadrian, the Celsius Library, and the Antique Theatre. In the afternoon visit the famous Sirince village with the cute village houses. At the end of the tour transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 6: Kuşadası, Turkey to İstanbul, Turkey
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Izmir airport for your flight to Istanbul and upon arrival in Istanbul, our services will conclude. Meals: Breakfast
