Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Tbilisi airport to Tbilisi
Tbilisi, the Town that Loves You Transfer from the airport Check-in the hotel - Welcome to the city that loves you, Tbilisi Dinner - You will be able to taste the food that is known all over the world. Get ready to enjoy the famous Georgian dishes that will leave your taste buds crying for more! Overnight – Tbilisi
Day 2: Tbilisi to mtskheta
Tbilisi City Tour Tour begins at 10:00 am Old Tbilisi walking tour - Explore the wonderful, colorful houses and streets of Tbilisi. Full of friendly inhabitants, river Mtkvari flowing down between two streets and bizarre, majestic architecture that will leave you speechless. Get ready to explore this strange and yet so wonderful mix of ancient and modern that the city offers. “Abanotubani”. The place itself is very interesting with its history and sightseeings. Cafes and shops are also near and easily accessible, and on top of everything “Abanotubani” also has its own share of mesmerizing nature, with even a waterfall falling from beautiful cliffs. Narikala castle is another Gem of Tbilisi. The castle dates back as far as 4th century. The stunning castle overlooks river “mtkvari”, colorful, old houses and lovely streets of Tbilisi. Kote Abkhazi Street –one of the most popular old street in Tbilisi uniquedue to location of three different religioussights, Georgian church, Synagogue and Armenian Church. Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi is a must-see place. The church is the third-tallest building of eastern orthodox cathedral and one of the largest religious buildings in the world. Once you go inside, the whole place is majestic, you must see it with your own eyes to believe it – how can a church transform into an art piece. Lunch at 14:00 pm While in Georgia, Mtskheta is a place that never, ever should be neglected. This tiny city is built on the meeting point of two rivers. This fact, along with Mtskheta’s mesmerizing nature, phenomenal architecture and overall atmosphere is what makes the city so, unexceptionally beautiful. Mtskheta is extremely old city – it’s the place where Christianity was proclaimed as the official religion of Georgia, in the year of 337 - so, accordingly, Mtskheta is perhaps most famous for its old Christian Orthodox churches. We'll visit Jvari Monastrey, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Samtavro Monastery are three most important churches of Mtskheta and UNESCO world heritage sites. Words can't express the beauty of this place. Tour ends by 16:00 pm
Day 3: Tbilisi to Kazbegi
Caucasus Mountains: Gudauri-Kazbegi (round Trip 330 km) Get ready to explore the true gems of Georgia - The Mountains! Throughout the day you will visit picturesque places, an endless valleys of pleasure - both metaphorically and literally. In fascinating Kazbegi, between 2 cliffs and mountains, in the middle of magical nature, surrounded by greenest forests, there’s a waterfall flowing that you should definitely visit if you want to see something so earthy and yet so heavenly. Tour begins at 9:00 am to Kazbegi- You will see the breath-taking mountains, visit the places that will transform you Jinvali Water Resort - Turquoise colored still water with the greenest and most gorgeous mountains - here it is, relaxation you’ve been looking for all over the place. Ananuri Castle - Ancient castle and a church with the view of the blue lake and mountains - a must see place. Gudari - You won’t be able to get enough of the heart racing views Gudauri offers Lunch at 14: 00 pm Travertines - The day keeps getting more and more exciting - See the wonderful travertines of Georgia. Gergeti church - a tiny church built in XIV century on top of the mountain and breathtaking view of Mkinvartsveri, Gergeti creates an out-of-this-world atmosphere. Back to Tbilisi, Dinner at 20:00pm Overnight Tbilisi
Day 4: Tbilisi to kakheti
Kakheti (Round Trip 320 km) After breakfast at 10:00 pm we go to Kakheti. First, we will visit the Bodbe monastery, where Saint Nino is buried, which brought Christianity to Georgia. Then we go to the city of love – AKA Sighnaghi. The city truly lives up to its name – So full of colorful houses, cute streets and tourist attractions, Signaghi really makes you feel loved & in love. There we’ll also see the fortress of the city. Then we will go to the Khareba Tunnel wine cellar . Here you will get acquainted with the Georgian traditions of winemaking and the production of Chacha (Georgian vodka). Also, you will be able to taste 4 varieties of tasteful wine. Lunch at 14:00 pm Back to Tbilisi via Gombori pass Dinner at 20:00 pm Overnight Tbilisi
Day 5: Tbilisi
