Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Tashkent, Uzbekistan to Ukhum, Uzbekistan
Day-1: Arrival to Tashkent - Ashraf village – Ukhum village 320 km, 5-6 hours. After arrival at Tashkent International airport, you will be met by our guide and driver with a printed name on paper. Then transfer to one of the hotels to get some rest and have breakfast. At 08:00 transfer to Ukhum village, located in Jizzakh region, southwest of Tashkent, which is about 320 km. Ukhum village is one of the amazing ecotourism villages to do hiking, horse riding, and walking tours in Uzbekistan which is offering a unique experience of remote areas, local culture, and community. Lunch on the way at a local restaurant. On this first day, we will start the horse-riding activity from Ashraf village to Ukhum village which is about 9-10 km. Also, you can observe Aidarkul lake from a distance, which is fascinating. Arrival at Ukhum village in the late afternoon. Check-in and free time. After check-in the guesthouse. guests can get ready for the next days of mind-blowing horse-riding trips around the villages of Jizzakh and Navoi regions.. The first day of horse riding is done nearby the village. At 19:30 - Dinner at the guesthouse. You can see water mills and take part in a master class of making flour from local grain and baking bread process. Free time and Overnight in Ukhum village in a family guesthouse.
Day 2: Ukhum, Uzbekistan to Hayat guesthouse nuratau mountain, Ukhum, Uzbekistan
Day-2: Ukhum village – Nature reserve – Hayat ecotourism village. 14 km, 4-7 h on a horseback. In the morning you have breakfast at the guesthouse. Then start a horse-riding trip to another village called Hayat. Duration of trip 5-6 hours and 14-15 km on the horseback. On the way to Hayat village, the group rises to an altitude of 1100-1300 meters above sea level and continues on its way. You can see the flora and fauna of Nuratau state reserve and pass by ancient petroglyphs carved on the mountain rocks and hills. Lunch on the way in picnic style. After lunch, continue horse-riding around the village. Horseback riding through the gurgling rivers of the mountains. At 15:30 – arrival at Hayat village and check-in the guesthouse. Free time. At 19:00 Dinner at the local guesthouse. Free time and overnight in Hayat village guesthouse.
Day 3: Hayat guesthouse nuratau mountain, Ukhum, Uzbekistan to Majrum, Uzbekistan
Day-3: Hayat village – Majrum village 12 km, 4-5 hours on a horseback. In the morning start your next part of the adventure with the horses. You will ride to Majrum village and on the way you have the chance of seeing mountain goats and deers in the reserve. Arrival to Mojrum and at 13:30 – lunch at local guesthouse. Time for resting. After lunch guests may travel in the village, see the 1100 year old spruce tree, and have photos of surrounding places. In your free time, you can walk through the gardens of the guesthouse, see the farms, and pets and enjoy the local fruit trees. Overnight in a guesthouse in Majrum
Day 4: Majrum, Uzbekistan to Sentyab, Uzbekistan
Day-4: Majrum village – Sentob village 16 km, 4-6 hours on a horseback. In the morning continue the riding in the direction of Sentob village, located in Navoi region. It is also an amazing place with hospitable people and clean weather, beautiful flora, and fauna that attract all visitors. On the way to Sentob, you can visit some forests, wild nature, and rippling rivers, ancient petroglyphs, and waterfalls. After arrival to Sentob, you will be invited for a lunch at the local guesthouse and have time to chatter with hosts and local people. Free time and preparation. Overnight in Sentob village.
Day 5: Sentyab, Uzbekistan to Aidar Yurt Camp, Нурота, Uzbekistan
Day-5: Sentob village – Waterfalls – Aydarkul lake. 75 km, 4-5 h on a horseback, and 1h drive In the morning we start the day with a longer ride on a horseback from the village to Sop village to the south where we can have the next part of chance for seeing waterfalls, wild animals and birds, as well as beautiful nature. and lunch en route or at 13:30 in a local place. After arriving and riding in Sop village, you will be transferred in a car to Aydarkul lake yurt camp to have a nomad style of living. On arrival at the yurt camp, check-in and lunch. Then go to Aydarkul lake to swim on the lake. Return to yurt camp and rest. Dinner at 19:00 at the tent camp around the bonfire. In the evening, you will have some folk music from the local Kazakh guy singing with dombira. Overnight in a yurt camp near Aydarkul lake.
Day 6: Aidar Yurt Camp, Нурота, Uzbekistan to Tashkent, Uzbekistan
Day-6: Aydarkul lake – Tashkent by bus. 385 km, 5 hours. Early in the morning, it is optional to see the sunrise at the lake then at 10:00, transfer to Tashkent by bus which gives you an opportunity to stop on the mountain pass of Jizzakh region. On arrival in Tashkent, you will be transferred to the hotel. Check-in and free time for dinner and an evening walk or city tour in the city. Overnight in a hotel in Tashkent.
Day 7: Tashkent, Uzbekistan to Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport, Tashkent, Uzbekistan
Day-7: Tashkent to home city. On this day we do not offer any program activities as it is the last day of the trip. However, if you a departure flight in the evening, we organize extra activities by discussing it with you. Also, you can have your private free day to explore and shop before the flight. Then, you will be transferred to Tashkent International Airport to take your flights. End of the tour. We wish you a safe journey!
