8 Days In Fann Mountains
About this tour
Hike this fantastic route in Fann mountains. This hike is for experienced hikers. Heights are serious - Chimtarga pass is located at an altitude of 4760 meters, it is higher than Mont Blanc and Belukha. As an award for a tough hike you'll get the see the best scenery with many lakes, all different and very beautiful. And after all this is an opportunity to get to Tajikistan, a country of incredible originality.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Dushanbe, Tajikistan to Al'plager' Vertikal'-Alaudin, Айнӣ, Tajikistan
Whether you arrive to Dushanbe International airport, or come by land via Samarkand, be sure we will meet you and take you to Vertical alpine camp, where you'll get acclimatization at 2800m.
Day 2: Al'plager' Vertikal'-Alaudin, Айнӣ, Tajikistan to Fann Mountains, Tajikistan
Today we will ascend to Piala lake, will leave our backpacks and climb up to see Alaudin from Adamtash pass at 3400m.
Day 3: Fann Mountains, Tajikistan
We will set up our camp by Mutnyi Lake, stay over night, and next day have radial ascend to VAA pass 4100m. Then we go back to our camp.
Day 4: Fann Mountains, Tajikistan
Today is the most tough day as we ascend towards Chimtarga pass. If group is strong, we can reach the top of the pass at 4760m and then descend towards Big Alo lake. If group is so-so, then we can camp at 4500m.
Day 5: Fann Mountains, Tajikistan to Lake Bolshoi Allo, Gazza, Tajikistan
Today we will ascend from 4500 to 4760m to Chimtarga pass and then have a long way down to Big Alo lake via Zindon valley. We will camp by Big Alo lake.
Day 6: Lake Bolshoi Allo, Gazza, Tajikistan
Today we will rest all day by the lake. Swim, enjoy reading.
Day 7: Lake Bolshoi Allo, Gazza, Tajikistan to Fann Mountains, Tajikistan
Today we will ascend towards Dvoynoy pass. On the way we will stop to see beautiful waterfall and Upper Alo lake.
Day 8: Fann Mountains, Tajikistan to Sarytag, Tajikistan
Today we will conquer Dvoynoy Pass 4300m and descend to Biryuzovy lake and then have our car to pick us and take either to Saratag village, or to Iskanderkul lake.
