Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Almaty, Kazakhstan to Taraz, Kazakhstan
Almaty-Tanbaly-Taraz Meeting with the guide at the hotel. Departure to the Tanbaly petroglyphs, which are located 170 km from Almaty(Unesco heritage). Walking around the site takes about 2 hours. Lunch. Continuation of the journey to the ancient city of Taraz. Before reaching Taraz, visit the stone ruins of the fortress. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Taraz, Kazakhstan to Shymkent, Kazakhstan
Visit to the Tekturmas hill, which offers panoramic views of the city. Travelers also visit the ruins of ancient Taraz, which stood here more than 2,000 thousand years ago. Then, leave the city and go to the mausoleums of Aisha Bibi and Babaja Khatun (Unesco heritage). Arrival in Shymkent. Dinner and night.
Day 3: Shymkent, Kazakhstan to Zhibek Zholy, Kazakhstan
Meeting with the guide. Departure to the dragon's cave. The journey by car will take about an hour and a half. A visit to the original cave will take about 1 hour. Then transfer to the border of Uzbekistan.
