Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Almaty, Kazakhstan to Tenir Eco Hotel, Almaty, Kazakhstan
09:00: Transfer to Ski Resort 09:30: Excursion to Shymbulak Ski Resort. * Take a cable car ride to 2800-3200 meters above sea level and enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains. * Spend time walking around the resort, taking in the fresh mountain air, and capturing stunning photos. 12:30 Return to city 13:30: Time for lunch at a restaurant or café at Shymbulak or on the way back to the city. 14:30: Visit this historical site, which honors the bravery of the Panfilov Division during World War II. * See the eternal flame commemorating fallen soldiers. * Admire the Ascension Cathedral, the oldest and most iconic Orthodox cathedral in Almaty, built entirely of wood. 15:30: Explore the Old Green Bazaar. * Enjoy the lively atmosphere, shop for fresh produce, spices, and traditional Kazakh goods. * Visit the local Chocolate Factory Shop "Rakhat" to buy authentic Kazakh chocolates and sweets. 17:30: Excursion to Kok-Tobe Park, a scenic mountain park with a range of attractions. * Panoramic city views. * Riding the thrilling fast coaster (optional). * Exploring the Ferris wheel for breathtaking sights (optional). * Browsing souvenir shops for unique keepsakes. * Enjoy time for a peaceful walk in the park. 20:00: Transfer back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Almaty.
Day 2: Lake Issyk, Kazakhstan to Charyn Canyon Visitor Center, Чарын, Kazakhstan
09:00: Departure to Issyk Lake – Travel through the scenic landscapes of the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains. * Visit to Issyk Lake National Park – Explore the stunning alpine lake, surrounded by lush forests and breathtaking mountain views. Time for lunch – Have a delicious meal before continuing the journey. 13:00 Time for Lunch at a local café or picnic. 14:00: Departure from Issyq Village to Charyn Red Canyon. (approximately a 2-hour drive). 16:00: Arrival at Charyn Red Canyon. * Explore the stunning landscapes of the canyon, including the "Valley of Castles," with time for walking and taking photos of this natural wonder. 18:00: Departure from Charyn Canyon to Saty Village 20:00: Time for dinner in the guesthouse Overnight Stay in Village
Day 3: Saty, Kazakhstan to Kolsai Lake, Kazakhstan
08:00: Breakfast at the guesthouse. Check-out 09:00: Taking other transfer UAZ Russian car to go Kaindy Lake. * The lake is hidden in the depths of mountain nature. You can get to the lake itself on horseback or on foot, enjoying the views of the mountains and the surrounding nature, immersed in peace and tranquility. Optional - Horse riding to Kaindy lake 15 min +7-15$ per person * Kaindy - a lake with emerald-blue water and birch trees in the middle of the lake. You will go for a walk along its banks, enjoying its unique beauty. 13:00: Return to village 14:00: Time for lunch in the guesthouse 15.00 Transfer to Kolsay lake 15.20 Arrival at Kolsai Lake. * Enjoy the tranquil beauty of the alpine lake surrounded by the majestic Tian Shan Mountains. 17:00 Return to city Time for dinner on the way
Day 4: Almaty, Kazakhstan to Big Almaty Lake, Almaty, Kazakhstan
07:00 – Transfer to the Big Almaty Lake (an additional transfer will meet us at a closed checkpoint and take us to the Big Lake) * It is one of the most beautiful places in the city and for those who want to enjoy the breathtaking Alpine views. 10:00 – Transfer to Ayusai Waterfall * Enjoy the beautiful surroundings and fresh mountain air with time for walking and relaxation. * Visit Ayusai Center and hike to the picturesque Ayusai Waterfall, enjoying the serene atmosphere and stunning nature. 10:00 – Transfer to Almarasan Gorge Hiking to Hot Spring * Enjoy a 15–20-minute hike to the Hot Spring River Almaty. * Relax in the healing radon waters, naturally heated to +20–25°C. * Don’t forget to bring your bathing accessories for an unforgettable dip in the hot springs amidst the serene mountain scenery. 15:00 – Return to the City After an eventful relaxation in the mountains Transfer back to hotel
