Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to Ulgii, Mongolia
Arrive in Khovd airport. Meet with Throat singer. Drive to Ulgii and visit Eagle hunters family. 220km ( 3-4 hours drive). Overnight in eagle hunters family. Lunch. Dinner .
Day 2: Ulgii, Mongolia to Altai Tavan Bogd Ranger, Mongolia
Today we will drive to Oigor gol valley in the Altai Tavan Bogd national park. 200km (6-7 hours drive). Overnight in the kazakh yurt. B.L.D
Day 3: Altai Tavan Bogd Ranger, Mongolia to Zagast Nuur Camp, Mongolia
Drive to “ Eronhiilogchiin ovoo" and see the beautiful snow covered Altai Tavan Bogd mountains and Potanin Glacier, 13km. After lunch drive to Tsagaan gol valley 50km. Overnight in the ger. B.L.D
Day 4: Zagast Nuur Camp, Mongolia to Baga turgen khurkheree, Mongolia
Drive to Sirgali valley, Khoton and Khurgan lake, Baga Turgen waterfall. Visit Eagle hunters family. 180 km. (5-6 hours drive). Overnight in the eagle hunters family, in the yurt. B.L.D.
Day 5: Baga turgen khurkheree, Mongolia to Ulgii, Mongolia
Drive back to Ulgii. 200km. (6-7 hours drive). Overnight in my apartment. B.L.D
Day 6: Ulgii, Mongolia to Khyargas Lake, Mongolia
Drive to Khyargas lake. 360km 6-7 hours drive. Overnight in the tourist camp. B.L.D.
Day 7: Khyargas Lake, Mongolia to Tosontsengel, Mongolia
Drive to Telmen lake, Tosontsengel village. 375 km. (4-5 hours drive). Overnight in the tourist camp. B.L.D.
Day 8: Tosontsengel, Mongolia to Khuvsgul Lake, Mongolia
Khuvsgul lake. 384km. (7-8 hours drive). Overnight in the tourist ger camp. B.L.D.
Day 9: Khuvsgul Lake, Mongolia
Khuvsgul lake. Rest day. Overnight in the tourist ger camp. B.L.D.
Day 10: Khuvsgul Lake, Mongolia to Murun, Mongolia
Khuvsgul lake, after lunch drive to Muren. Overnight at the hotel. B.L.D
Day 11: Murun, Mongolia to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Fly to Ulaanbaatar.
