Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Almaty, Kazakhstan to Altyn Emel National Park, Kalinino, Kazakhstan
First day: leave the Almaty at 8 am and arrive to Altyn Emel park. Have lunch in guesthouse in village. You should be ready that roads in Altyn Emel park are really off-road. Visit an Aktau mountains. It takes near of 1.5 hours to get to the Aktau. Walking there about 6 km by the trail. Overnight in guests house in Bashy village.
Day 2: Altyn Emel National Park, Kalinino, Kazakhstan to Saty, Kazakhstan
Second day: start at 7 am and get to The Singing Dune. Then way 2 hours to the Charyn canyon via Ash-tree grove. In evening get to homestay in Saty village for overnight. Hot dinner and sauna.
Day 3: Saty, Kazakhstan to Almaty, Kazakhstan
Third day: start at 8 am and get first to Kolsay lake1, walking round. Then way to the Kaindy Lake. Hiking to the lake near of 2 hours. Back to the Saty village for a lunch. After way to Almaty city near of 4 hours

What to know
In winter possible, but singing dune does't sing. Mountain lakes are frozen.
