Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Tashkent to Samarkand
Day-1: Arrival to Tashkent (Program depends on your arrival time) I will meet you at the airport. Then transfer to the hotel to get some rest. At 10:00 after breakfast, start the city tour in Tashkent: Visit old part of the city, Charsu Bazar, Hazrati Imam complex, Kaffal Shashi mausoleum, Muyi Muborak complex(Usman Koran manuscript VIII cent), Independence square, Amir Temur square and Tashkent metro. Lunch in a local plov centre to try the best Uzbek dish - Plov. In the evening, at 17:30 drive to Samarkand, 4hours and 30 minutes approximately. On the way we can stop to see some amazing places. Arrival in Samarkand. Check-in and rest.
Day 2: Samarkand
Day-2: Samarkand After breakfast, start the city tour in Samarkand: Visit Gur-Emir mausoleum, Registan square(Ulughbek madrasa, Sherdor madrasa, Tilla Kori madrasa), Bibi Khanum mosque. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch continue the tour - visit Siyab bazar, amazing place to see oriental atmosphere, Shahi zinda necropolis, Afrosiyab museum. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Samarkand.
Day 3: Samarkand to Bukhara
Day-3: Samarkand-Bukhara After breakfast, drive to Bukhara, 4 hours. On the way we can stop in Navoi, to see Karavan serai and Sardoba(water structure) ruins. On arrival to Bukhara, check-in the guesthouse and go for lunch. After lunch, start the short day tour: Visit Samanids mausoleum, Chashmai Ayub mausoleum, Bolo Khovuz mosque, Ark citadel, Poi Kalon complex with minaret, madrasah and mosque. This is only madrasa in central asia functioning from 18 century. Then, go for a dinner in local restaurant. Enjoy the evening life in Bukhara. Overnight in Bukhara.
Day 4: Bukhara to Bukhara, Uzbekistan
Day-4: Bukhara. In the morning, continue the tour in Bukhara, visit Ulughbek madrasa, Abdulazizkhan madrasa, Toki zargaron and Toki telpak furushon ancient shopping centres, Magoki attori mosque near caravanserays, Labi hovuz ensemble, Nodir divanbegi madrasa. Lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch continue the tour in outskirts of Bukhara, visit Bahauddin Naqshbandiy complex - a sufi leader, Sitorai mohi Khosa - summer residense of Bukhara Emir XIX century. Dinner near Labi Hovuz lake. Overnight in Bukhara.
Day 5: Bukhara to Khiva
Day-5: Bukhara-Khiva, 480 km, 6 hours. After breakfast, drive to Khiva, an ancient oasis city with 2700 years old history. This is a unique place of Uzbekistan, where you have the chance of seeing the "Museum under the open sky" only best preserved ancient city with forts and walls. Lunch en-route. Arrival to Khiva. Check-in and resting. In the evening we can have night city tour as an upgrade from my side. Dinner and overnight in the guesthouse in Khiva.
Day 6: Khiva to Khiva, Uzbekistan
Day-6: Khiva In the morning start the day tour in Khiva: visit Ichan Qala - Ata darvaza, Madrasa of Mukhammad Aminkhan, Blue minaret, Ark citadel, Prison. Lunch at local restaurant, Khiva is famous for its amazing and unique cuisine which always captured the hearts of visitors. continue the tour. Juma mosque X century - amazing place for photo taking, Pakhlavon Makhmud mausoleum - sacred place of famous identities of Khorezm; Tash-Hovli palace XIX century, Olloqulikhan caravanserai. Dinner at the restaurant with terrace to see beautiful sunset. Overnight in Khiva.
Day 7: Khiva to Ayazkala
Day-7: Khiva-Ayazkala-Toprakkala-Khiva In the morning drive to ancient forts and capitals of great ancient Khorezm empire. Visit Ayazkala IV cent B.C and camels walking around; then transfer to Toprakkala - II cent, amazing place with city ruins. Lunch near Akchakul lake to taste the best fish or dishes of the region. Then transfer to Khiva via Urgench, overnight in Khiva.
Day 8: Khiva to Nukus
Day-8: Khiva-Chilpikkala-Nukus In the morning drive to Nukusm capital of Karakalpakstan autonomous republic. On the way stop at near Amudarya river and Chilpikkala fort-ancient zoroastrian dakhma. Then drive to Nukus. Arrival in the afternoon, check-in and lunch in a local place. The rest of the day is free for your individual experience. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Nukus.
Day 9: Nukus to Mizdakhan
Day-9: Nukus-Mizdkhan-Nukus. In the morning, drive to ancient and sacred site Mizdakhan located in 17 km southwest of Nukus. Then drive back to Nukus in the afternoon. Lunch at Turkish restaurant or other place you wish. Then start amazing tour to Savitsky art museum with 110.00 pcs of colorful art collection of different periods of history. Then we can visit one of the first private home museum of famous Karakalpak singer and poets - Shamurotovs museum. Dinner in a local restaurant, overnight in Nukus.
Day 10: Nukus to Tashkent
Day-10: Nukus-Tashkent In the morning start the city tour in Nukus with some exended places such as Geographical museum, Berdakh monument and museum, White palace of Karakalpakstan. Lunch in a local place. After lunch, visit Nukus Bazar, where you can impressive and funny people trading. Then drive to Ashshikul lake to see the outskirts of Nukus. Afternoon free time for resting and walking. In the evening take the flight from Nukus to Tashkent departing at 22:30. Flight time is 1h and 20 minutes. Arrival to Tashkent. You will be met by our driver and transfer to hotel.
Day 11: Tashkent, Uzbekistan
Day-11: Tashkent to home city. This is the last day of Uzbekistan trip and it depends on your return flight time, so that you can still enjoy the modern city. Then transfer to international airport to depart your homeland. End of the tour. We wish you a safe journey.
