Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Osh to Murghab, Tajikistan

Beautiful mountain passes, crossing the highest point of the Pamir Highway - Ak-Baytal pass (4655m), Karakul lake, short hike around the lake.

Day 2: Murghab, Tajikistan to Langar, Tajikistan

Lunar landscapes of the Eastern Pamirs, lakes of different shape and color, discover the coldest and remotest village of Tajikistan - Bulunkul. If time permits 3 hours hike to Khargushi panorama view point which offers breathtaking view of the whole Wakhan valley.

Day 3: Langar, Tajikistan

Engels Meadow trek (a day hike to the base camp of Engels (6500m) and Marx (6700m) peaks.

Day 4: Langar, Tajikistan to Khorog, Tajikistan

Discover the ruins of ancient fortresses, soaking in Bibi-Fatima hot spring, visit the Museum and the Solar Calendar of Sufi Muborak.

Day 5: Khorog, Tajikistan to Kalaikhum, Tajikistan

Beautiful views of the Afghan villages along the Panj (Oxus) River, charming villages on Tajik side.

Day 6: Kalaikhum, Tajikistan to Dushanbe, Tajikistan

Stop to see Hamadoni Mausoleum and enjoy Nurek artificial lake from the road.
