About this tour

Explore Bhutan on foot through a private hiking journey combining mountain landscapes, traditional villages, monasteries and everyday Bhutanese life.

This journey is designed for travellers who enjoy walking and want to experience Bhutan at a slower pace. Along the way, we explore forest trails, mountain paths, rural communities and important cultural sites, with opportunities to meet local people and learn about Bhutanese traditions, nature and history.

As an independent Bhutanese guide with more than 20 years of experience, I can adapt the walks to your interests and fitness level. My background in nature guiding also allows me to share knowledge of Bhutan's forests, wildlife and birdlife along the way.

The hiking is combined with comfortable travel between valleys, giving you the chance to experience both Bhutan's landscapes and its rich cultural heritage without committing to a demanding multi-day camping trek.
