Charyn Canyon Day Trip

Day 1: Almaty

A lot of visitors of Charyn then sayed that they saw in Kazakhstan small copy of the Grand Canyon. During the tour guests can visit a village of the uighurs with local food. Along the way you can make acquaintance with typical kazakh modern villages and citysetelments. On the way we can see farm animals horses, sheeps, cows. Wild animals and birds like golden eagles, jerboa, partridge and etc. It takes near of 2,5 hours to get to the canyon. The half part of the way is Comfortable highway and asphalt road. Then walking through the canyon 2 km in one direction. Possible to organise a picnic near of the river or have a hot lunch in Uighurs cafe on the way to the Almaty. Usually it takes near of 8 hours for the tour. Better to start the tour at 7-8 am. You should be ready it can be really hot there during the summer days. I suggest to have long sleeve clothes and suncream.
