Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Dushanbe, Tajikistan to Kalaikhum, Tajikistan

Today our epic journey on Pamir Highway will start. We will drive 6 hours to Kalai-Khumb where we will spend our first nigh. Activities of the day: Norak dam, Hamadoni Mausoleum, Khulbuk fortress

Day 2: Kalaikhum, Tajikistan to Khorog, Tajikistan

On our second day we drive to Khorog. Just after Kalai-Khumb we will do a side trip to Tajikistan Macchu Picchu. We will continue our drive along the Panj river. We will stop many times so you could enjoy the view of the villages and villagers on Afghan side. In the afafternoon we will do Khorog city tour. We will visit Khorog Botanical garden, City park and Ismaili Center.

Day 3: Khorog, Tajikistan to Langar - Лангар, Tajikistan

In the morning before heading to the Wakhan valley of Tajikistan, we will discover the local market in Khorog. After that we drive to Langar village. On the way we will stop to see the ruins of ancient castles, pre-Islamic shrines, Buddhist stupa. There is a great hot spring on our way today. So don't forget your swimming suit!

Day 4: Langar - Лангар, Tajikistan to Murghab, Tajikistan

The landscape today will be completely different as we will drive to the plateau. After breakfast we will head towards Murghab via Khargush pass (4443m). We will have a chance to stretch our legs on a nice hike to the viewpoint of the pasa (Panarama ridge) from where we will have breathtaking view to the whole Wakhan valley. On the way to Murghab we will do a side trip to Bulunkul village which is the coldest place in Tajikistan. After lunch in Bulunkul we will drive to see the Yashilkul lake. After that we continue to Murghab.

Day 5: Murghab, Tajikistan to Sary Mogul, Kyrgyzstan

After relaxing morning in Murghab, we will head to Sary-Mogol of Kyrgyzstan via Ak-Baital pass (4655 m), the highest point of the Pamir Highway. We will have some time to hike along the Karakul lake on our way to Kyrgyzstan.

Day 6: Sary Mogul, Kyrgyzstan to Osh, Kyrgyzstan

Today we will get up earlier so we have enough time to hike towards the Lenin Peak. In the afternoon we will head to Osh. Transfer to a guest-house/hotel. End of tour.
