Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Ulaanbaatar

Day 1 – City tour with Monastery and National Museum Pick you up from Chinggis Khan international airport and transfer to the hotel. City touring with Gandan Monastery and Mongolian National Museum.

Day 2: Ulaanbaatar

Day 2 – Terelj National Park After breakfast starts a drive to Terelj National Park, lying in the valley of the Terelj River 80 km northeast of Ulaanbaatar, Terelj national park has long been a holiday resort for people from the capital and short-stay tourists. It is one of the most visited areas in Mongolia due to its magnificent scenery and its proximity to Ulaanbaatar. On the way stop, we will see Eagle and Eagle hunter (but it depends on the Eagle hunter) The park's most spectacular features are its huge granite blocks and cliffs as well as meadows rich in wild flowers. Terelj offers fascinating rock formations including two famous formations named for things they resemble Turtle Rock (Mongolian: Melkhii Khad) and small meditation temple on top of the hill with great view. Overnight at Mongolian Ger.

Day 3: Ulaanbaatar

Day 3 - Genghis Khan Statue After breakfast, we have horseback riding activity. And then we will visit “Genghis Khan Statue Complex” which is currently the biggest (40m high) equestrian statue in the world. There is a recreation area, restaurants, and souvenir shops occupy the base structure. Then we will back to the city, get our dinner during the Mongolian live song.

Day 4: Ulaanbaatar to Kharkhorin

After breakfast, we drive back to the city, on the way we will get our lunch. Evening we will see some cultural shows.

Day 5: Kharkhorin

Day 5 – Elsen Tasarkhai Sand (Semi Gobi) After breakfast, we will drive to Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes which are a semi-desert typed beautiful landscape with big sand dunes. On the way, we will have our lunch. And then we have a camel riding activity before dinner. After dinner, we will hike around the sand dunes. We can possibly see the sunset brilliantly in the area. We will overnight at the some nomadic family`s home.

Day 6: Kharkhorin

Day 6 – Kharkhorin and Erdenzuu Monastery After breakfast, we will drive to Kharkhorin which was a capital city of Mongolia in the 13th century for 30 years, located in the northwestern part of the Uvurkhangai province of Mongolia. On the way stop, we will get our lunch with the open space of the Mongolian countryside. One of the Mongolian most attractive monasteries Erdenezuu locates in Kharkhorin City. The Erdenezuu monastery is the most ancient survived Buddhist monastery. The Erdenezuu monastery was built in 1585 by Abtai Sain Khan. We will spend our night at the ger hostel. After having dinner in a hostel, free time hiking or resting around the town.

Day 7: Kharkhorin to Ulaanbaatar

Day 7 – Back to city and Culture show After breakfast, we drive back to the city, on the way we will get our lunch. Evening we will see some cultural shows.
