This trip was a great experience. Thank Aslan for the management of this trip. There are a lot of good experiences. The cook during the trek was perfect. The driver was very safe. And thank Aslan because he made possible to do Gobi Desert in 3 days. Aslan made it possible for us to have a contact with the local people living in Mongolia and it was really great. The landscapes were sensational and we go home with wonderful memories in our minds. However, we have to notice several problems -first, the guide wasn`t perfect for the hiking. Even he was very nice, it was difficult to find the way the first day, because of the weather condition (snow +++). After the first days, he knew the path and everything went well. Moreover, we met several groups from other agencies, who paid a guide before arriving which they finally don`t have when they arrived in Mongolia, so maybe, we were finally well. -second, the organization during the trek wasn`t very clean, for example, we spent a lot of time in Olgii, after hours of driving the dented road, waiting for knowing the place where we would sleep. And finally, we spent a night in a Ger Camp where we were attacked by a lot of flies. -to finish, we had to pay a supplemental in Gobi Desert to take a shower. We spent 10 days without a shower, and after a day in the sand dunes, we paid ourselves the shower. Not expensive, but not nice... Overall, we are very happy after this trip, but we have to notice those several little problems to improve the trip of the next customers. We recommend Aslan to organize your trip.
Aslan has been very helpful since the day I contacted him. I informed him of the places I wanted to visit and that I wanted pretty relaxing program that`s not to tight with schedule, and he made it for me. He even gave me information I needed for my preparation as he knew I am from a tropical country and that the Mongolian climate may be colder for me. I was at peace that my travel was well taken care of. Cheko was my tour guide for 12 days. He`s very good in choosing the best camping spots! From Terelj to Gobi, everything was perfect. He cooks amazing food, too! (Great for Filipino/Singaporean palate! see photo). This is definitely one of the best travel experiences I have had. It will be difficult to top this one. Thanks to Aslan and Cheko! Although Aslan was not with us physically during my 12-day travel, he was always in contact with us to make sure that everything is okay and that my travel experience was not below "excellent". I would highly recommend Aslan`s travel services to anyone who wants to visit Mongolia, either group or solo. 5 stars for him!
