About this tour
Imagine cycling through a mountain paradise of peaks over 7,000 meters with glaciers almost touching the road and inhabited by people so friendly that it is not unusual to be offered tea as a gesture of hospitality when you stop for a break. The KKH is a dream ride and we aim to make it as easy as possible for you to take in the sights and experience the cultures along the way. Each day is designed for you to enjoy the cycling and to soak in the splendid panoramas.
Tour duration is 14days. mountain biking through some of the world’s most breathtaking mountain scenery in the Karakoram and Pamir Ranges including, weather permitting, views of: Rakaposhi 7790m, Diran 7270m, Ultar 7388m, Muztagh Ata 7546m, Kongur 7719m, and many other peaks. Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Islamabad, Pakistan to Islamabad Expressway, Islamabad, Pakistan
On arrival the guests will be tour with drive along to twin cities Pinid and Islamabad .Bara Koh, Faisal Mosque , National Museum etc.
Day 2: Islamabad, Pakistan to Besham City, Pakistan
Drive to Abbotabad and then biking to Besham over night in hotel (6 to 7 hour biking)
Day 3: Besham City, Pakistan to Chilās
Biking to Chilas over night in hotel (8 – 10 hour bike) while enrout the secred rocks at Thalpen and shatial will be shon. after descending from Babosar Pass
Day 4: Chilās to Gilgit
Biking to Gilgit over night in hotel (5-6 hour bike). Spring waters, 3 Ranges Juction Point Karakorum Himalya and Hindukush
Day 5: Gilgit to Baseen, Gilgit
actaully this is rest Day at Gilgit .After Lunch visit Hustle bustle Gilgit Bazzar,spice shops and drive to Kagha Budda site .back to Hotel .
Day 6: Gilgit to Rakaposhi View Point, Gulmit
GILGIT- Rakaposhi View Point Nagar. As the International Skii compition TDK ( Tour de Khunjorab) also overnight here for cultura show and bonfire
Day 7: Rakaposhi View Point, Gulmit to Hunza Embassy Hotel, Karimabad
This is the most attractive part of the Cycling Tour arround the highest Peaks and settlements of Hunza and Nagar . It takes 3 to 4 hours cycling
Day 8: Hunza Embassy Hotel, Karimabad to Pasu
Bike to Passu over night in hotel (5-6 hour ) beside the Attaabad Lake and Tunnles. Meadows and orchards en route
Day 9: Pasu to Sost
Bike to Sust over night in hotel (5 to 6 hours). Batura glacier. here the custome house and China Pakistan clearance office and do the hike to Dry port etc
Day 10: Sost to Khunjerab Pass, Pakistan
Drive and Bike to Khunjorab Top .it Takes 5 to 6 hours cycling and drive
Day 11: Khunjerab Pass, Pakistan to Karakoram Highway, Murtaza Abad
Drive back to Hunza Karimabad after compiliation of successful cycling along KKH .
Day 12: Hunza Embassy Hotel, Karimabad to Besham City, Pakistan
on this day early moring drive towards Gilgit airport for flight as it always depends on weather so we drive directly towards Besham or Naran Khan via Babusar road
Day 13: Besham City, Pakistan to Islamabad, Pakistan
Besham of Naran Khghan side it tooks 7 to 8 hours drive to reached Islamabad . Lakes and town mesmerizing views
Day 14: Islamabad, Pakistan to Islamabad international airport, Islamabad, Pakistan
Drop at Airport and fly to Home
