If you are want to take time to enjoy vast landscapes, meet locals, do some trekking/hiking and horseriding this is the perfect tour for you! There is a big variety of activities and things to do in this area so it is best if your goal is to enjoy and process instead of marking it off your list of places to visit. Along with immersing into a local culture you would be able to have a comfortable traveling because the majority of roads are paved, accommodation is of high standards whether it is a homestay or a hotel and you can find almost any food you desire. Also this area is the most culturally diverse compared to other regions of Kyrgyzstan.

Day 1: Arrival to Bishkek. Lunch in a traditional Kyrgyz cafe. Bishkek city tour. Traditional dinner & Kyrgyz Folklore concert. Overnight at Apple hostel.
Day 2: Bishkek –drive through gorgeous Boom valley– Open air petroglyphs in Cholpon Ata – Lunch in a local cafe – dinner & overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 3: Cholpon Ata – Karakol – lunch - Holy Trinity church, Dungan mosque. Dinner & overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 4: Transfer from Karakol to Aksu to start a beautiful 4-5 hour hike to Altyn Arashan valley. Enjoy open air hot springs. Overnight in a guesthouse or a yurt.
Day 5: Hike back to Aksu – Lunch in a local cafe. Visit Jeti Oguz valley, Fairytale canyon. Then transfer to Ton village. Dinner and overnight in the yurt camp.
Day 6: Transfer to Chon Kemin National Park.. 2 hour horseriding in the park wih the horse guide. Homemade Lunch/Dinner & Overnight in a homestay with the forester's family.
Day 7: Chon Kemin - Burana tower, one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites – Lunch with a Dungan family.. Farewell Dinner in a local restaurant. Accomodation at Apple hostel

Please bring Diamox if you have problems with altititude. The highest point is Altyn Arashan valley at 3000m above the sea level.
