Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar
Day 1 (Sep 27) – City touring with Monastery and National Museum (Sep 25) (hotel, B; L; D) Pick you up from Chinggis Khan international airport and transfer to the hotel. City touring with Gandan Monastery and Mongolian National Museum. (Please note that you should come in Mongolia early morning since Gandan monastery and Mongolian National Museum`s close in business hours)
Day 2: Ulaanbaatar to Kharkhorin
Day 2 (Sep 28) - Drive to Elsen Tasarkhai Sand (Semi Gobi) and Kharkhorin and Erdenzuu Monastery and nearby Govi-Altai province /Will drive approximately 800 km, half paved road/ (hotel, B; L; D) Early morning, we will drive to Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes which are a semi-desert typed beautiful landscape with big sand dunes. On the way, we will have our lunch and camel riding activity is available. And then we will drive to Kharkhorin which was a capital city of Mongolia in the 13th century for 30 years, located in the northwestern part of the Ovorkhangai province of Mongolia. One of the Mongolian most attractive monasteries Erdenezuu locates in Kharkhorin City. The Erdenezuu monastery is the most ancient survived Buddhist monastery. The Erdenezuu monastery was built in 1585 by Abtai Sain Khan. After that, we will drive to the Gobi-Altai province. We will spend our night at the hotel. And we will get ours in a hotel.
Day 3: Kharkhorin to Bayan-Ölgiy Aymag
Day 3 (Sep 29) – Drive to Olgii, Bayan-Olgii Province /Will drive approximately 800 km, half paved road/ (hotel, B; L; D) Early morning we start our drive to Olgii, Bayan-Olgii province. This day you will enjoy the beautiful views of Mongolia`s lake and mountains. On the way, we will visit some nomadic family, will discover their nomadic life. Once you arrive at the Olgii city you will get a hot shower and stay at the warm homestay. And will get your dinner during the Kazakh folk concert.
Day 4: Bayan-Ölgiy Aymag
GOLDEN EAGLE FESTIVAL The festival begins with eagle hunters’ parade and each hunter displaying the hunting outfits and elaborate, beautifully adorned accessories. Later, the hunting eagles are evaluated for their skills. This event represents the very essence of the culture of nomadic Kazakhs and if you like to have once-in-life experience. During this festival there is many traditional Kazakh besides eagle hunting: - Buskashi: goatskin pulling game - Kiz Kuar: chasing game on horseback between men and girls. - Tenge ilu: picking up coins from the ground And after the festival, you will visit the Eagle hunter family.
Day 5: Bayan-Ölgiy Aymag

Day 6: Bayan-Ölgiy Aymag to Tsengel
Day 6 (Oct 2) –Drive to White River/Tavan Bogd Mountains Flight to Olgii province. Once, you arrived there you will meet with our team, and same-day start our drive to the gate of Altai Tavan Bogd national park which is named “Tsagaan gol” means “White river” also it is approximately 8 hours` drive from Olgii to there, on the way stop, you will see ancient stones from the Turkic period and do camping along the white river valley.
Day 7: Tsengel
Day 7 (Oct 3) – Potanin Glacier /long about 20 km/ After kind of nomadic breakfast, we start horse riding towards Tavan Bogd massif which is more than 4000m higher from Tsagaan gold camp, it takes approximately 6 hours` drive from camp to there. And nearby the mountains, we see approximately 20 km long Potanin Glacier. And remember camels are carrying our luggage and we riding horses in the wild green nature, sounds like real nomadic right? We will camp nearby the Tavan Bogd Mountains, at the night you will see clearly, beautiful, and shining thousands of stars.
Day 8: Tsengel to Bayan-Ölgiy Aymag
Day 8 (Oct 4) – Back to the Gate/White River and Tuvan Nomadic Family Time to back to the Tsagaan gol camp while horse riding, do relaxing around visit the yurt of local Tuvan family, and try Nomadic drinks. Tuvan language is different but pretty close to both Kazakh and Mongolian languages. Their traditional clothes and yurts look like Mongolian. By the way, our guide will teach you the Mongolian Card game, you will enjoy and play this game.
Day 9: Bayan-Ölgiy Aymag
Day 9 (Oct 5) – Back to the Olgii and Visit the Eagle Hunter`s family Time to drive back to Olgii, but on the way back, we will visit Kazakh eagle hunter’s family to experience their lifestyle and see a golden eagle. Arriving in Olgii, after a hot shower, we will see Kazakh folk concert at the camp.
Day 10: Bayan-Ölgiy Aymag to Ulaanbaatar
Day 10 (Oct 6) – Flight back to the City and Nightlife of City Our team gives you a ride to the airport. Once you arrived here, we will enjoy the nightlife of the city.
