The itenary includes: the ancient Tamgaly petroglyphs UNESCO, the show of birds for prey, the Kolsay lake with horse back riding, overnight in yurt, masterclass of cooking.
First day : We leave Almaty in the western direction at 7-8 am. The road takes about 2 hours in one direction. The road passes through villages and towns. Such as Uzynagash, Chemolgan, Kaskelen and others. On the way we will drive through many fields planted with cabbage, sugar beet, raspberries, watermelons, grapes.Along the way we will see several typical Kazakh seasonal farms. Strolling through the territory of the national park, be prepared for unfatiguing climbs to ancient drawings. Comfortable shoes are required, and long-sleeved clothing in hot weather. A walking part to petroglyphs usually takes about 2 hours. During the second part of the day visit the falcon nursery and see the show of birds for prey. Overnight in hotel in Almaty city.
Second day: start at 7 am way to the Kolsay lake. It takes near of 4 hours. Take lunch boxes in guesthouse. Hiking round of Kolsay lake by horses. Possible to rent a boat. Way back to the saty village. Masterclass of cooking with local people. National dinner. Overnight in yurt ( if good weather) /guesthouse if too cold.
Third day: way to the Charyn canyon near of 2 hours. Walking through the ancient canyon near of 2 km in one direction. On the way to the Almaty city hot national lunch in Uighurs cafe.
Including accommodation in Saty village only for second night. Horse rent is included. If you don't need it we can exclude this case.
Additional case for boating if you prefer to try it. Accommodation in Almaty city on first night is not included. Also dinner on first day, and breakfast on second day are excluded.
In winter petroglyphs UNESCO are not visible. And the Kolsay lake is frozen.
