Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Arrival in Bishkek and meeting with me, driving to Bishkek city and check in hotel. You will have few hours in hotel for a rest and breakfast after a long flight. And after a rest we will drive in city and have lunch in one of the local Restaurant. Visiting always lively market Osh Bazaar, Ala Too squire and Fine Art Museum, dinner with tasty food and brief information about tour.
Day 2: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Chong-Kemin National Park, Kyrgyzstan
Morning breakfast and drive to Chon Kemin National Park, this a great place to explore rural life,small villages with few populations and beautiful surroundings. On the way we will visit Architectural Complex Burana Tower from 11-12th century. Arrive in Chon Kemin Guest House. Have lunch on the way or in guesthouse. And we will have a walk in the village to talk to locals and get closer to them. Dinner and overnight in Guest House with locals.
Day 3: Chong-Kemin National Park, Kyrgyzstan to Karakol, Kyrgyzstan
Morning breakfast and drive to the pearl of Tien Shan ranges Yssyk Kul lake Karakol. Karakol is one of the most touristic cities in Kyrgyzstan. We will drive on the northern shore of the lake and through the Grigorevka and Semenovka gorges. The gorges are stunning, and we will have picnic on the shore of small mountain lake in Semenovka gorge, then continue driving on the beaten road to Grigorevka gorge where were held on World Nomad Games. Arrive in Karakal and visit Orthodox Church, Chines Muslim Mosque and Karakol market. There we will try Karakol special food Ashlanfu (cold noodles).
Day 4: Karakol, Kyrgyzstan to Bokonbayevo, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast we will start exploring south shore of the lake. First we will drive to Jeti Oguz (Seven Bull) and drive to the next gorge Chon Kyzyl Suu where we can have Hot spring Pools to swim and continue to drive to Bokonbaevo, before we reach Bokonbaevo we will have small hike in Fairytale canyons. And arrive in Bokonbaevo Guest House where the great cook and very hospitable family is. Dinner and overnight in Guest house.
Day 5: Bokonbayevo, Kyrgyzstan to Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan
Morning breakfast and meet with eagle man and his eagle. We will show us the demonstration of eagle hunting. (you can hold and take pictures with eagle). And we will head to great place Song Kol. Song Kol is located at 3016m above sea level and we will cross the pass of Kalmak Asuu at 3400m. Amazing view of the lake inspires you with its beauty, surroundings and background. Thousands of animals give more shine to the view. We will be nomads and stay in the yurts. Dinner and overnight in yurt camp.
Day 6: Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan
Today is a easy day, we will have breakfast and enjoy the view and drive to another shore of the lake, on the way we can stop and visit shepherds camps to see and experience. Arrive in another yurt camp by lunch and after lunch small hike to petroglyphs (2-3h). Dinner and overnight in Yurt camp.
Day 7: Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan to Naryn, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast we will drive to civilization Naryn city. (optional for horse riding till lunch) Road through Moldo Tor pass gives you more exciting views. Arrive in Naryn by lunch and check in hotel, after lunch visit Naryn market and walk in the city or have free time in hotel. Dinner at restaurant and overnight in hotel.
Day 8: Naryn, Kyrgyzstan to Tash-Rabat, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast we will drive to Tash Rabat Caravan Sarai (Stone building) from 15th century. Arrive in Tash rabat yurt camp by lunch and after lunch we will visit Tash Rabat building and try to count how many rooms are in there. And small hike around enjoy the nature, breath fresh air and dinner and overnight in yurt camp.
Day 9: Tash-Rabat, Kyrgyzstan to Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan
Morning breakfast and drive to Kochkor town, where we can visit souvenir, handicraft shop and see the process of making Kyrgyz carpets and try yourselves to participate in making carpet. Lunch on the way or in Kochkor. Dinner and overnight in Guest House.
Day 10: Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
We will drive back to Bishkek. And 2-3 h of hiking in Konerchek canyons in Boom gorge. Lunch is on the way arrive in Bishkek check in hotel and dinner at restaurant, overnight in hotel.
Day 11: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Manas International Airport, Kyrgyzstan
Transfer to Airport: transfer to airport. Flight back home with full of great memories.
What's included
Horses are not included, it is optional on day 7 at Song Kol lake.
