I had the privilege of experiencing a fantastic 3-day ride around Isyk Kul Lake in Kyrgyzstan, and I couldn't be more pleased with the tour guides who made it possible. While our main guide was available only on the last day, we were fortunate to have Tika as our guide for the first two days. Both guides, including our main guide, were exceptionally polite, had impeccable English, and engaged us in delightful conversations throughout the journey. Tika, in particular, left no stone unturned in ensuring our trip was tailored to our preferences. His flexibility in accommodating our requests and his knack for aligning the experience with our interests were truly remarkable. He didn't just lead us; he guided us with insightful tips and creative ideas that added depth and richness to our adventure. The entire experience was nothing short of exceptional, and I couldn't have asked for better guides. They made every moment count and turned this trip into an unforgettable memory. If you're considering embarking on a journey like this, my suggestion is simple: do it, but make sure you have at least 5 days to truly savor all that this tour has to offer. We had the pleasure of being guided by Begaly for four days during our Kyrgyztan trip. We had an absolute blast with him - not only is he knowledgable, kind and proffesional but also fun to be around. He was very flexible, and went out of his way to meet our travel wishes. Also note that he speaks perfect english (major plus) and that he is an excellent driver that made us feel safe in the (sometimes) crazy Kyrgyz traffic. I honestly cannot recommend him enough, our time with him was one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks for having us, Begaly!!

I spent a week with Begaly. He is very professional guide, patient and flexible. On the Road something hit the back window of the car and broke it. He was still and didn’t panic about it. We just completed the trip after a quick temporary fix when we stopped for a lunch. His knowledge and recommendations for the food and places are very helpful. He is also good photographer. I will do it again for sure.

He is kind, considerate, smart, indefatigable, flexible, knowledgeable and has perfect English to boot. We are pushing ours and his limits with long days of driving on difficult roads and he never as much as sighs in complaint. We drove to Song Kul lake yesterday the second car of the season even though it looked like a bad storm was brewing. A bit of rain fell and a few snowdrops even. We had some car trouble (rear brake scraping) I can’t believe he managed to fix it first thing in the morning. The car he has is the most comfortable car by the way and the first time my husband has no problems with his back even on such bad roads. He is also very good at finding better accommodations for us that have private bathrooms which is important to us old farts that have to get up multiple times a night. Last but not least he was so kind to invite us to his parents house for dinner and private concert of his niece. It was a most wonderful evening ending with a drive to his sister in law birthday celebration. We would recommend him to the fussiest of guests. He is a treasure.

Begaly was definitely the right choice for us, he is very professional, very calm, kind and efficient. Even when things dont go as planned, he always has a solution. If you need something, he will get it for you. But, most importantly, he is a very good and decent person. Plus, he speaks great English. We cant thank him enough for the memories.

Great tour overall, a unique experience to say the least. Stayes the night in the village and then went horse riding next to the mountain range.

Our 3 day trip from Bishkek was terrific thanks to Begaly! He has lots of knowledge and informal information about the area and country overall. Effortless communication in english and he is very pleasant and polite with a sense of humour. Safe driver. He made good recomandations on local foods, and suggestions for things to do and see in Bishkek on our own after the trip. He was very flexible and considerate to our wishes for the trip. The housing and food at the Yurt camp and guesthouse he took us to was great. When a few of us fell sick (not food-poisoning), we felt the heartfelt compassion from both Begaly and the host at the Yurt camp. We had a great time, thank you for having us Begaly!

We (mother and 2 big boys- 22 & 17 from Israel) have returned from 10 days trip in Kyrgyzstan with Beka. We had wonderful time! Beka was the perfect guide in all aspects! Begaly is really the best guide I`ve ever seen! He was the guide for myself and my two children (both 12 years) during our 14 days tour, and we all had a fantastic time, because of him. He is really great with kids, and my children loved him. Begaly will do everything to give you a good time, including taking a puppy in the car for several days:-) Begaly is a very carrying person, he knows a lot about his country and he is a very funny person. We had good time, nice evenings with the cards, Rummicub, Colorsmash and Dobble. He is also interested in learning new languages, and he already talked a bit Dutch with my children. I`m so lucky to have found Beka through Indy Guide! I was a solo traveller planning last minute, and came across Bekas profile which had great reviews from other travellers. Beka was very flexible to accommodate to my schedules and what I wanted to do, very timely response which helped me very much in the beginning to finalise my itinerary, and the price he offered for my package was very fair in comparison to other offers I received. My Kyrgyzstan journey would not have been as memorable without him, he showed me on the first day a very nice trekking trail to kick off which didn`t have much tourists. He also recommended me with his personal favourite guesthouse, with a super friendly couple who surprised me with folk songs after dinner and made me felt so warm and welcomed! He`s also very well organised, planning ahead before our horse riding day to take vodka and food which i appreciated so much when we reached versus the other groups who were staying there. He also took care of me when i was down one night when I felt a little ill. I would highly recommend anyone who plans to visit Kyrgyzstan for an authentic and memorable experience!

Beka was an excellent choice for being my guide during 3 days around lake Issyk-Kul. He drove from Bishkek to Karakol and come back, all around the lake, and he showed me the main interest places during the trip. The same in Karakol and in the mountains around. He´s a really close, honest and friendly person. Excellent english speaker. He´s able to hiking in the mountain with an excellent knowledge of the area, showing the alternatives, and to ride horses as well. He was taking care about me and was proposing different plans, I was feeling he has a really detailed knowledge about the region. The timing during the days were good and well planed all the time and I really enjoyed without stress. Every question from my part about geography, mountain paths or traditions was replied. We spoke as well about cooking, history, geology in the area, anthropology, religions, music... and each time he explained in detail about every topic. The restaurants suggestions were good as well. Amazing to discover the bazaars with him. As driver he was taking care, driving in a relax way. I had an excellent time with Beka. I can strongly recommend Beka as guide. We were a group of 16 traveling through Kyrgistan for 10 days. Beka was amazing, helped us with organizing everything to the smallest detailes (transportation, trekking, horse riding, horse games, yurt and hotels acommodation and restaurants). Kyrgistan is a beautiful country and people are very nice and welcoming but Beka made our visit truly special.

Beka is an excellent guide who is also very flexible, honest and eager to provide you the best tour for your budget. We are traveling the world so we could not afford a 10 or 18 days but a 7 days tour. Thanks to Beka we stayed with lovely families, tried delicious and interesting Kyrgys specialities, heard Kyrgys music (we have a favorite song now) and where overwhelmed about the variety of Kyrgyzstans nature. So much beauty to see!!! We did not only enjoy the trip, we also became friends! We had nice evenings playing cards and filled with laughter :-D Overall you can be sure that Beka tries to make your visit memorable! P.S. : make sure to lose some weight before your tour. Beka is a great guide. Although we only had a few days in Bishkek on our recent trip through Central Asia, he made sure we saw all the highlights and gave us great insights into Kyrgyzstan. He is organized, reliable, knowledgeable, and has a great sense of humor. He is fun to travel with. I will definitely book with him again when we return.

I would like to rate the travel experience had with Begaly Abdraim last August in Kyrgyzstan as excellent. He has been very professional and carried out the duties of driver and guide with care and passion, being flexible to accommodate my needs and photographic landscape interests. He also has experience with hiking. I spent 6 days with him as part of a private tour going from Sary Chelek (see attached picture) to Chichkan gorge, then exploring the area around Son Kul lake and Tash Rabat with beautiful Tien Shan mountains as background. We had 5 wonderful days on a private tour through Northern Kyrgyzstan with Begaly. We were very happy having that well experienced guide, who cared so much about us, was entertaining and had an answer to all of the many question we had. He even spent some time with us, even when the official part was over. The road conditions in Kyrgyzstan are quite challenging, but we had always a safe ride. Begal has been very accommodating to ascede to our requests to suit best our itinerary due to us experiencing unforseen circumstances (falling ill). My name is Roie and I was traveling in Kyrgyzstan with Beka during 10 days together with my two sons 14 + 12 years old. Beka planned and organized the whole trip from start to end and was responsible for everything that was needed for the trip. Most of the trip was a hiking (we like to hike). We hike at the Karakol Mountains area, reached heights of 3900, slept in tents and yurts, ride horses, visited wonderful places, met wonderful people and visit and stayed in homestay of charming locales families. The trip was perfect from start to finish and this is thanks to Beka. Beka is a pleasant, tolerant, funny, knowledgeable and wonderful person, very flexible and his main goal is to make a perfect trip for those who travel with him and this is noticeable at any moment on the trip. Beka was in charge of finding us porters, cooking the wonderful dinners in the camping and one of the important things is that Beka knows how to deal with children in a wonderful way with a sense of humor and patience and appropriate sensitivity. There is no doubt that in our next visit to Kyrgyzstan, we will take a stroll with Beka Roie - Israel
