Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ташкент, Узбекистан
Welcome to Tashkent! Flight from homeland to Tashkent. Our team will welcome you at Tashkent International Airport. Transfer and check-in (at/after 14:00) to the hotel. Have a city tour and sightseeing in Tashkent: The visit to the complex of Khast-i-Imam (reconstructed in 2007), the religious center of Tashkent. Architectural ensemble includes several constructions, built-in XVI-XIX cc: Barak-Khan Madrasa, Tilla-Sheikh Mosque, the mausoleum of the Saint Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi, and the Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari, where future preachers are taught. Time to have a family lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Tashkent Polytechnic Museum, where children and their parents can learn about the history of the automotive industry, as well as, through the "Interactive Workshop", get knowledge about the world around them experimentally. Visitors have the opportunity not only to get acquainted with the history of the development of transport, starting with the invention of the wheel but also live to see a number of unique exhibits, including the model of the first car, such as "Volkswagen Beetle", "Moskvich - 400", "Pobeda", "Chayka". And on the second floor (Interactive Workshop) you go back to your childhood, and already on equal terms with your children run from exhibit to exhibit: catch the current, send the ball by air into the ring, watch how waves are formed in the sea! Night at the hotel.
Day 2: Ташкент, Узбекистан to Чимган, Узбекистан
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, drive to Chimgan Mountains through the roads, lying in picturesque surroundings full of local villages, gardens, and valleys. In Chimgan Mountains, you can take a long ride in the cable car from Beldersay gorge to Kumbel peak, from where the longest ski tracks take start; have a walk in the mountain area and relax observing the gorgeous view of green mountains. Then, drive to the shore of the Charvak Reservoir. It is the most favorite place for local people and foreigners to have leisure during summer days. There are numerous resorts, beaches, and children summer camps. You can have lunch under the shade of four giant plane trees at Chinara’s restaurant. On the territory of the restaurant, you can explore unique petroglyphs, rock carvings made by prehistoric people, preserved until nowadays. Return to Tashkent after lunch. Dinner time. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Ташкент, Узбекистан to Хива, Узбекистан
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning transfer to the airport and take a domestic flight to Urgench. (HY 051 | dep : 07h25 | arr : 08h55). Arrival at the airport of Urgench, meet the driver at the airport and transfer to Khiva. On arrival, transfer to the hotel and leave the luggage there (check-in at/after 14:00). Explore a marvelous city, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The sightseeing program includes an excursion in all monuments of Ichan Kala: -Juma Mosque, constitutes a remarkable type of architecture of XVII cc. -“Kunya Ark” –the ancient fortress, established in 1686 - 1688 by Arang-Khan -“Kalta Minor” and the Madrasa of Muhammad-Amin-Khan -The Tash-Kauli Palace, built-in 1830 - 1838 for Alla-Kulli-Khan -The Mausoleum of Pahlavan Mahmud (1247 - 1325) -The Mausoleum of Sayid All-Uddin, which has retained its XIV century layout intact -The Madrasa of Islam-Khodja (1908 - 1910), with its elegant minaret, at 45 m the highest in Khiva -The Madrasa of Alla-Kuli, built-in 1835. For children! Camel riding along Ichan Kala lets your children feel themselves like in ancient time and have a pretty good time. Lunch & Dinner at local restaurants. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Хива, Узбекистан to Бухара, Узбекистан
Breakfast at the hotel. Early in the morning drive to Bukhara direction bypassing the red sands of the desert Kizil-Kum. On the road crossing the arid steppe with its herds of sheep of astrakhan. Rest stop and explore the river of Amu-Darya, a blue serpent in the desert... Lunch on the way. In the afternoon going on the road doing another rest stop en-route near Gazli. Arrive late afternoon, transfer, and check-in to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Бухара, Узбекистан
Breakfast at the hotel. Discover the most mysterious city of the Silk Road –Bukhara and its magnificent historical monuments that attract thousands of visitors by their beauty. Visits to: -Architectural complex Poi-Kalyan (means «Foot of the Great»), situated at the foot of the minaret Kalyan. -The madrasa of Ulug Beg and Abdulaziz Khan. -Tim Abdullah Khan – a covered bazaar built-in 1577. - Magok-i Attari Mosque (today, Museum of Carpets) is one of the oldest architectural monuments. -The architectural ensemble Laybi-Hauz (means «the shore of reservoir») consists of three monumental buildings. -The Ark-Citadel –a residence of Bukhara khans, a massive fortress, built and occupied around the 5th century AD. -Bolo-Hauz Mosque, built in the 17th century, was a place of prayer for the Emirs and their entourage. -The mausoleum of Ismail Samani, one of the most ancient monuments in the city. -The mausoleum Chashma Ayub. Children entertainment! Visit the workshop of popular puppet-creator Iskandar KHAKIMOV will be very interesting for children. As well as a charming puppet show in the evening that involved puppets and live actors performing a folk tale about marriage. Lunch & Dinner at local restaurants. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Бухара, Узбекистан to Самарканд, Узбекистан
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the railway station and take the train express to Samarkand. Upon arrival in Samarkand transfer and check-in to the hotel. Sightseeing in Samarkand: The Registan Square (“Sandy Place”), the ensemble of three madrasahs (the Ulughbek Madrasah (1417-1420), the Sher Dor Madrasah (1619-1636) and the Tillya Kori Madrasah (1646-1660)) is a unique example of town-building art, a remarkable pattern of the architectural planning of the main town square; The Gur-Amir Mausoleum –a world-known masterpiece of Central Asian architecture, the family crypt of the great dynasty of Tamerlane, with a finely ribbed dome and decorated with paper-maché inside. Dinner time and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Самарканд, Узбекистан to Ташкент, Узбекистан
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing program to The Pearl of Samarkand – Bibi Khanum Mosque. Constructed in 1399 by the best architects and artisans of Khorossan, Azerbaijan, Persia, and India, the mosque was compared on the beauty and shining with the Milky Way; the Siyab Bazaar, the most ancient and biggest market in Samarkand; Lunchtime. After, you will discover the Shakhi-Zinda ensemble with more than 20 buildings, built from early XI up to XIV cc. Each mausoleum has its own style of decoration and great fantasy of skillful artisans; the Observatory of Ulugbek, the first observatory in Central Asia, built-in XIV c. At 17:00 transfer to the rail station to take fast speed Train “Afrosiab” for Tashkent. Arrival in Tashkent at 20:20. Transfer and check-in to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Ташкент, Узбекистан to Международный Аэропорт Ташкент имени И.Каримова, Ташкент, Узбекистан
