About this tour
Light hiking to the peak of the holy Kazygurt mountain. Kazgurt is small range of the Western Tien Shan mountains located near Shymkent city. It is legendary mountain associated to the mooring of Noah's Ark in the prehistoric times. It is very popular place to visit among pilgrims and fans of esoteric. After the hiking there is a good bonus to have refreshing bathing in holy spring Ak-Bura just at the foot of the mountain. Wild steppe and mountain tulips on the mountain from April till may every season.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Shymkent
Itinerary of the hiking 9.00 am - departure to the holy mountain from Shymkent city, 50 km. 10.30 am - arrival to the foothill of the mountain and short preparation 11.00 - 13.00 pm - ascent to the peak of the holy mountain 13.00 -14.30 pm - short rest, have a snack, photo session. 15.00 - 17.00 pm - descent from the mountain. Short rest. Refreshing bathing on holy spring Ak-Bura. 18.30 pm - transfer to the city. End of the tour
