Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to Baga Gazariin Chuluu, Mongolia
In the morning we pick up you at your place in Ulaanbaatar and head for Chinggiskhaan statue, after that we hit the road to baga gazariin chuluu, we reach there afternoon at around 4pm.
Day 2: Baga Gazariin Chuluu, Mongolia to Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa), Mongolia
In the morning we start the trip to tsagaan subarga, it takes around 5 hours driving and we explore unique colored huge wall of earth, of course you will take great 📸. This amazing attraction looks ruins of old palace and building in the past. True story is millions years ago we had a huge water/ sea/in Mongolian gobi. By the time It becomes clay cliffs and nature turned into that shape. Overnight is in a ger.
Day 3: Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa), Mongolia to Yolyn Am Valley, Баяндалай, Mongolia
This day we will drive around 4 hours to yol canyon through dalanzadgad city. Narrow canyon is now full of ice and we will do 2 hours hiking and photographing and it gives us definitely exotic feelings. Overnight is in ger
Day 4: Yolyn Am Valley, Баяндалай, Mongolia to Hongorïn Els, Mongolia
This day we also drive 4 hours to khongor sand dune. Khongor sanddune is the most important destination in Gobi desert, the long 180km , widest is 15km and we reach the highest spot of this sandslope. Normally tourists ride camel in the sanddune. Also some funny tourists do competition for the fastest climbing up the top of sandslope. That is a great fun for youngers Overnight is in ger.
Day 5: Hongorïn Els, Mongolia to Ongi Monastery, Mongolia
In the morning we hit the road to flaming cliffs / bayanzag/ it takes 3 hours, flaming cliffs is famous for dinosaur 🦕 area and in the early of last century/ 1922/ American paleontologist Roy Chapman Andrew's discovered many bones and eggs. Finally we drive to ongi monastery. Overnight is in a guesthouse
Day 6: Ongi Monastery, Mongolia to Kharkhorin, Mongolia
In the early morning we start the trip to kharkhorum, it takes around 5-6 hours. Kharkhorum is not in the part of Gobi desert, but it is in the central khangai range. There we will explore some historical heritages and museums about Chinggiskhaan period and first Buddhist monastery Erdenezuu. Overnight is in a guesthouse. Ger guesthouse
Day 7: Kharkhorin, Mongolia to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
In the morning after breakfast we go to Ulaanbaatar, it takes around 5 hours and we drop off you at your hotel
