-khongor sanddune ,it is the great attraction of Mongolian gobi. We do camelriding , sandsledding and climbing up the highest peak of sandslope. Those activities makes us fun and adventures.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to White stupa, Өлзийт, Mongolia
in the morning we start the trip to white stupas in gobi desert, the destination is colourful great walls stands around at high 30metres and it is strangely shaped natural formation and become incredible attraction in Mongolian gobi desert. basically it looks like ruins , great walls of old buildings or ancient city. But it is clear evidence of mongolian gobi was bottom of seabed millions of years.
Day 2: White stupa, Өлзийт, Mongolia to Yolin Am Ice Field, Mongolia
in the morning after breakfast we will head for yoliin am. yoliin am great canyon is one of the most beautifull attraction and it is enormous high , but narrow canyon. it is also great challenge to do hiking through from one side to another side. /8km/. Many eagles build up their nests on the top of the canyon and flying by circle on the rock looks incredible! That is why it is named as a golden eagles valley. /yoliin am/ there are many yurts for guests of local nomadic families and and also tourist camps.
Day 3: Yolin Am Ice Field, Mongolia to Khongoriin Els, Mongolia
After breakfast we will drive to the famous sandslope "khongoriin els". It takes around little more than 3 hours and reach the sandslope. We will climb up the highest peak of the sandslope, it normally takes around 45min ,but depending on personal speed and skill, there are different records such as 42min, 48min, 56, even more than 1 hour. I hope you would create a new record. also we would do camelriding, sandsledding and hiking. Obviously this amazing natural combination is super ideal spot for photographing.
Day 4: Khongoriin Els, Mongolia to Flaming Cliffs, Mongolia
After breakfast we will head for Flaming cliffs/it has 2 names, locals call it as a baynzag./ but it is famous for flaming cliffs all over the world. Early years of the last century/1920s/ American palanteologist Roy Chapman Andrews discovered the place finding many dinosaurs bones and eggs. The views of the attraction are incredible sightseeing showing red walls and cliffs.
Day 5: Flaming Cliffs, Mongolia to Baga Gazariin Chuluu, Mongolia
This day we head for Baga gazariin chuluu protected area. It is boundary zone of Gobi desert and central area of Mongolian wild nature. we visit the ruins of a little buddist temple damaged by communism period. This temple was situated between 2 incredible natural rocky wall, seems like it was a meditation centre. also we visit the small cave and eye springs. Basically the destination is surrounded by natural granite stones in the wild nature.
Day 6: Baga Gazariin Chuluu, Mongolia to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
After breakfast we drive to Chinggiskhaan horse statue and Ulaanbaatar. We visit the great horse statue. in the basement great museums would show us life, culture and history in the 13th century of Mongolian great empire. we also climb up into the head of horse statue and look around the views from the top. There are also business area which sells Mongolian souvenirs and clothes. Finally we go to Ulaanbaatar and drop off you at your hotel.
