About this tour

An English or Russian-speaking Mongolian or Kazakh guide will accompany you during the tour. Additionally, an exceptional cook and a skilled driver (without using GPS) will be part of your adventure. Our horse guide, equipped with packing camels, will join you for the trekking portion of your tour.

Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Arrival In UB And City Tour. Overnight In UB. Hotel, Lunch, And Dinner Are Provided.

Day 2: Ulgii, Ölgii, Mongolia to Tsengel Hayrhan Suma, Mongolia

Arrival in the town of Ulgii. Meet your tour team and drive to Tsengel Village to overnight in a tent by the Khovd River. (Lunch and Dinner)

Day 3: Tsengel Hayrhan Suma, Mongolia to Altai Tavan Bogd National Park, Mongolia

Drive to White River Ranger Station for over 4 hours and arrive at the ranger station before lunch. Have lunch at the Ranger station, meet your horse guide, and pack camels. After lunch, start horse riding to the base camp. Arrive at base camp and have dinner.

Day 4: Altai Tavan Bogd National Park, Mongolia to White River, Mongolia

Ride back to White River Ranger Station and meet your driver. In the afternoon, you will have free time at the ranger station and visit Tuvan nomadic families. Learn about their lifestyle and culture.

Day 5: White River, Mongolia to Ulgii, Ölgii, Mongolia

Drive back to Ulgii early in the morning

Day 6: Ulgii, Ölgii, Mongolia to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

fly back to UB on the same day.

Notes on included services

During your trip, we will serve meals based on the Mongolian diet, which consists of mutton, beef, rice, and noodles. Vegetables, eggs, peanut butter, and cheese are also available. Our cooks will provide lunchboxes as well.

Notes on not included

For your trip to western Mongolia, we recommend bringing warm clothing, such as rain jackets, waterproof trekking boots, gloves, and hats. Don't forget to prepare a first aid kit and bring your camera equipment.
