Hunting For Trout - Mountain Fishing Tour
About this tour
There are more then 40 thousands mountain rivers and streams in Kyrgyzstan with total length near 150 000 km. Many of them rich with fish, usually rainbow trout. Trout belongs to the Salmonidae family fishes. It is red, beautiful, tasty and very clean fish. But also it is very smart and tricky fish. Fishing for trout it is like a hunting. Me and my old friend dyadya Jura will organise for you all for your best fishing time. Dyadya Yura very experienced fisher and hunter for more than 30 years. He is real fanatic of his hobby.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Suusamyr, Kyrgyzstan
Starting from Bishkek to Suusamyr valley (150 km). it is a high plateau in the center of the Western Tien-Shan and the largest jailoo (pasture) in Kyrgyzstan. Here you will see huge herds of sheep and horses and you can drink the best koumiss in the country, possibly in the world :). We start our fishing on west Karakol river. Overnight in own camping.
Day 2: Kojomkul, Kyrgyzstan to Kyzyl-Oi, Kyrgyzstan
Fishing on Kokomeren river.
Day 3: Kyzyl-Oi, Kyrgyzstan to Chaek, Kyrgyzstan
Fishing on Kokomeren river.
Day 4: Chaek, Kyrgyzstan to Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan
Fishing on Kokomeren river.
Day 5: Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan to Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan
Fishing on Chon Kemin river.
What's included
Tour of the program can be extended or shortened. If you don't have fishing gear, I will provide. The cost of the tour includes all permits, accommodations in guesthouses or homestays and meals 3 times a day, on some days lunch with snacks.
