Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to Gorkhi Terelj National Park, Улаанбаатар, Mongolia
After breakfast, tour guide and driver will pick up from your hotel or guesthouse. After directly go to Chinggis Khan Statue/Terelj National Park Ride horse 1hour/. There is a recreation area, restaurants, and souvenir shops. From here, you can ascent to the head of the horse using an elevator. There you have a good panoramic view of the complex area and the scenery beyond. We will return Ulaanbaatar capital city, will arrive at a hotel or guesthouse. Lunch.
Day 2: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to Elsen Tasarkhai, Högönö-Taranaiin-Hüree, Mongolia
After breakfast, tour driver will pick up from your hotel or guesthouse. After directly shortly visiting Gandan Monastery and after straight to Elsen Tasarhai know as well Mongolian Sand Dune. /On the road stop OVOO/ The area is surrounded by sand dunes, hills covered with rare bushes, and a small forest near a river. Day 3: Elsen Tasarkhai, Högönö-Taranaiin-Hüree, Mongolia to Orkhon Valley Natural and Historical Reserve, Mongolia
After breakfast, drive towards Elsen Tasarhai know as well Mongolian Sand Dune for 70 km. On the way, lunch served. The area is surrounded by sand dunes, hills covered with rare bushes, and a small forest near a river. Together this presents a unique combination of Mongolian mountains, forests, and Gobi-type landscape in one location. Overnight Ger guesthouse /nomad family/. Provide Breakfast, Lunch Dinner.
Day 4: Orkhon Valley Natural and Historical Reserve, Mongolia to Kharakhorum Museum, Harhorin, Mongolia
Today drive to Erdenezuu monastery. Have lunch with some local canteen and then toward our next destination. /On the road visitng Tuvkhun Monastery/.The most prominent historical site in Orkhon Valley is the Karakorum, the ancient capital of the Mongol empire. The Karakorum, founded in 1220 by Genghis khan, was not only the capital of the vast Mongolian Empire but the epic center of trade along Silk Road. However, the Karakorum of today is a small settlement with little focus on tourism. Upon arrival in the village, we will visit the museum of Karakorum and learn about the beautiful ancient Karakorum. Then we will visit the magnificent and the oldest Buddhist Monastery complex of Erdenezuu, built in the 16th century, with 108 stupas. After returning to the vehicle, head to tonight’s Provide Breakfast, Lunch Dinner.
Day 5: Kharakhorum Museum, Harhorin, Mongolia to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
After breakfast, we will head to Ulaanbaatar for 360 km. On the way, lunch served./On the road visiting Khustai National Wild Animal Protector AREA/. After drive to Ulaanbaatar city.
