Step back in time as you explore one of the region's earliest urban settlements and learn about its fascinating Silk Road history. 09:00–09:45 – Continue to the charming city of Panjakent, where you'll experience authentic local life while visiting the vibrant Central Bazaar and the beautiful Central Mosque. Browse colorful market stalls filled with fresh fruits, spices, traditional sweets, and local handicrafts. 09:45–12:00 – Enjoy a spectacular 170 km scenic drive (approximately 3 hours) to Iskanderkul Lake. Travel through dramatic mountain landscapes, picturesque villages, and winding roads, with several opportunities to stop for unforgettable photographs. 12:00–13:00 – Savor a delicious traditional Tajik lunch at a lakeside restaurant while enjoying magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. 13:00–13:45 – Welcome to the legendary Iskanderkul Lake (2,195 m above sea level), one of Tajikistan's most iconic natural wonders. Surrounded by towering peaks and crystal-clear turquoise waters, the lake is closely linked to the legend of Alexander the Great (Iskander), where history, mythology, and nature come together in one unforgettable destination. 13:45–15:30 – Continue exploring the natural beauty of the area: - Visit the peaceful Snake Lake, a hidden alpine gem surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. - Take an approximately 1 km walk (about 25–35 minutes each way) to the breathtaking Fann Niagara Waterfall, a spectacular 50-meter cascade and one of the highlights of the Fann Mountains. Enjoy plenty of opportunities for photography, short nature walks, and unforgettable moments surrounded by some of Central Asia's most spectacular landscapes. 15:30–18:30 – Relax on the scenic 170 km drive (approximately 3 hours) back to the Jartepa Border Crossing. 18:30 – Arrive at the border.
