Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to Blue lake, Dayaantayn Hural, Mongolia
We will pick you up at your location and head for our destination, the Blue Lake. This place is one of the most amazing parts of the Khan Khentii mountainous area. We will explore historical area, related to the Man of Millennium, Chinggis Khaan. After exploring this area, we will check into a ger guesthouse.
Day 2: Blue lake, Dayaantayn Hural, Mongolia to Binder Suom, Khentii, Onon, Mongolia
After breakfast, we will go to the beautiful place called Binder. There is a also a beautiful small town, also named Binder. We will check into a comfortable tourist camp or guesthouse there, then visit a beautiful garden of pine trees, the great canyon Yargui and the river Onon, the birth place of Chinggis Khaan and the first parliament palace of the great empire.
Day 3: Binder Suom, Khentii, Onon, Mongolia to Batnorov Soum Stadium, Dundburd, Mongolia
This day, we drive to Batnorov town, which is about half way to Dornod. We will see here some historical monuments related to the 13th century. We will stay overnight in a hotel.
Day 4: Batnorov Soum Stadium, Dundburd, Mongolia to Dornod, Mongolia
After breakfast, we head for Dornod city. We will check into a hotel. Then we can visit some museums and have a city tour, discovering information about 2nd World War.
Day 5: Dornod, Mongolia to Buir Lake Complex Resort, Халхгол, Mongolia
This day, we go to Buir Lake and stay there in a guesthouse.
Day 6: Buir Lake Complex Resort, Халхгол, Mongolia
Relax in the beautiful surroundings by the lake.
Day 7: Buir Lake Complex Resort, Халхгол, Mongolia to Dornod, Mongolia
We go back to Dornod and stay in a hotel.
Day 8: Dornod, Mongolia to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
We will drive for 700km on the paved road to Ulaanbaatar.
