About this tour
The Kolsai lakes are one of the most beautiful places, the lakes are called the pearl of the Northern Tien Shan. Kolsai is a wonderful place for camping,
hiking, horse riding and mountain biking.
Lake Kayindy is one of the mysterious places of the foothills at an altitude of 2000 m above sea level among spruce trees, surrounded by mountain peaks. It arose about 100 years ago as a result of the collapse of a huge mass of rock that blocked the gorge with a natural dam.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Almaty, Kazakhstan to Kolsai Lake, Kazakhstan
21:00 gathering on the street. Baytursynov, above Abay avenue (opposite the Astana hotel) 21:30 departure. 1 day: At 02:30 arrival in the village of Karabulak (Saty), accommodation in guest houses. 08:00 - 09:00 breakfast. 09:45 - 18:30 walk along the Kolsai lake. Those who wish go with a guide on a hike to the lake. Kolsay 2. Time for lunch. 19:15 - return to the guest houses. 19:30 - dinner, free time, overnight.
Day 2: Kaiyndy, Kazakhstan to Almaty, Kazakhstan
2nd day: 8:00 - breakfast. 9:00 - transfer, walk along the Kayindy lake 13:30 - lunch. 15:00 - departure to the city of Almaty. 16:00 - 16:30 visiting Charyn "Black Canyon" 20:30 arrival to the city.
