2 Days Maranjab Desert Safari Tour in the Heart of Silk Road;
Maranjab Desert is located on the north east of Aran and Bidgol town (50km), north east of Kashan city (61km) in Isfahan Province. The name of this desert came from the Abassi carvanserai near the Aran & Bidgol Salt Lake which was built by Shah Abass Safavi on 1603AD to protect the Silk Road. Enjoy the touch of the sands on your toes while walking bare foot on the sand hills and watching the dawn of the sun among the Tamarisk trees.

Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Tehran, Iran to Maranjab Desert, Iran
Drive from Tehran to Kashan, visit highlight historical sites of Kashan, Fin Garden, Tabatabei and Brojerdi Houses. After having lunch continue to Maranjab salt lake (Aran & Bidgol Salt Lake). After watching the sun set go to the Maranjab Caravanserai and set the camp. Enjoy the desert night ski. Overnight Camp in Abbasi Caravanserai.
Day 2: Maranjab Desert, Iran to Tehran, Iran
In the morning before the sunrise leave the caravanserai and go to the nearby Sand hills and watch the dawn of the sun from the top of the sands. After breakfast you have some hours to spend on the sand hills. On the way back to Kashan you will stop to enjoy the land scape of the desert before you leave the desert. Your tour will end either back in Kashan or Tehran.
