Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Dushanbe International Airport, Dushanbe, Tajikistan to Dushanbe, Tajikistan
DAY 1 DUSHANBE (730 – 950m) Arrival in Dushanbe International Airport. You will be met by guide and transferred to the hotel, guaranteed early check-in at the hotel upon your arrival. You start sightseeing in the capital city of Tajikistan - Dushanbe, which is the biggest city in Tajikistan. Here is not just a simple city , every step you face to an amazing sight because every part of Dushanbe has it's own shape
Day 2: Dushanbe, Tajikistan to Iskanderkul lake, Panj-Chashma spring, Kanchoch, Tajikistan
DAY 2 DUSHANBE –ISKANDARKUL LAKE (165km 3-4hr, 2200m) After breakfast at the hotel drive via Anzob Pass(3372m), Istiqlol tunnel and along Iskandardarya river to Iskandarkul lake. The highway is asphalted and along the way you can enjoy from the beauties of nature, mountain landscapes and smells of spices. Iskandarkul is one of the most beautiful lakes and has excellent panorama. The water of the lake is very cold and clear. It lies on the northern slopes of the Gissar Range in the Fann Mountains. Lunch in Iskandarkul. There is also should be watch Snake lake, Five Springs and mainly the Waterfall that the tourists called it as the ‘’Fann Niagara’’ Overnight and dinner at base or in tents.
Day 3: Iskanderkul lake, Panj-Chashma spring, Kanchoch, Tajikistan to Alauddin Lake 1, Ayni, Tajikistan
DAY 3 ISKANDARKUL – ALOUDDIN LAKES (230km-4-5hr,2770m) In the morning, after breakfast we start driving to Alauddin lakes. The beautiful panorama of the surrounding peaks and lakes will be seen from the top of pass. Lunch on the lake shore. Than walking and a short trekking around the lakes. The nature in this place is unbelievable. Dinner at local teahouse or camp. Alaudin lakes located 2770m above sea level.
Day 4: Alovuddin, Tajikistan to Koulikalon Lakes, Tajikistan
DAY 4 ALOUDDIN LAKES – KULI KALON LAKES (7km-4-5hr2800m) The donkeys arrive in the morning to carry the luggage. After having a breakfast and short instruction by the mountain guide, we start the 4-5 hours trekking to Kuli kalon lakes. Trekking around Kulikalon area. Lunch in any beautiful landscape. Today we are acclimatizing to the high altitude and walk around the lakes. Explore every lake and maybe swim in some of them. Overnight near Bibijanat lake in the 2 persons tent. I think if you camp on the shore of each lakes of Kulikalon you never want to leave this place.
Day 5: Koulikalon Lakes, Tajikistan
DAY 5 KULI KALON LAKES- CHUKURAK LAKES (5km-3-4hr,2455m) After breakfast trekking continue to Chukurak lake. It will be 3-4 hours trekking. Lunch in Chukurak lake. The shore side of Chukurak is great place to camp. You can meet with local shepherd and local people. Chukurak is a small lake but there are two other lakes not far from it. Camping in Chukurak lake, walking around the lake. Dinner in the camp on the shore of the lake. In Tajikistan’s Fann Mountains especially on the shore of Chukurak lake you’ll find yourself surrounded by sky-scraping mountains which are covered with snow. Crystal clear lakes of azure give you incredible impression.
Day 6: Koulikalon Lakes, Tajikistan to Guytan, Tajikistan
DAY 6 CHUKURAK LAKES – GHUYTAN VILLAGE (5km-3-4hr,1500m) Today trekking run via Guytan Avuls to Guytan village. In Avuls you can acquaint with the strange lifestyle of local peoples.In Avuls people live seasonally, especially in Summer. Lunch near Avuls. After that descent to village Guytan. Accomodition at traditional home stay. Diner and overnight at home stay.
Day 7: Guytan, Tajikistan to Gazza, Tajikistan
DAY 7 GUYTAN VILLAGE - TOBASANG (5-6hr,3307m) After breakfast at the traditional home stay trekking continue along short and mountain rivers to Tobasang area. Lunch on the riverbank or in beautiful meadow. Camping in Tobasang. Dinner and overnight in the camp here.
Day 8: Gazza, Tajikistan to Haft Kul (The Seven Lakes), Panjakent, Tajikistan
DAY 8 TOBASANG- HAFTKUL (3-4hr,2139m) After breakfast early morning start trekking up the Tavasang Pass (3307m) via Kiogli village to Marghzor lake. Lunch near the mountain spring. Descent to traditional home stay. Sightseeing around the lake. Dinner and overnight at the home stay.
Day 9: Haft Kul (The Seven Lakes), Panjakent, Tajikistan
DAY 9 MARGZOR LAKE– HAZORCHASHMA – MARGZOR (18km -5hr-,2400m) After breakfast you will make a little trekking to th lake (18 km – 6 hours). Remember the color of every lake, because you won’t see two similar lakes. Each of lakes has it's own shape and it's own landscapes surrounding it .Lunch in th lake. Return home stay, dinner and overnight at home stay.
Day 10: Haft Kul (The Seven Lakes), Panjakent, Tajikistan to Margedar, Tajikistan
DAY10 MARGZOR - NOFIN LAKE– RUKNOBOD VILLAGE (75km- 2hr,1178m) Today after breakfast trekking along the way and lakes to Nofin lake. This is the 4th lake from north to south. Lunch at Tajik national restaurant. After lunch the car will come and take you to Panjakent city along the rest lakes of Seven lakes. Overnight in Ruknobod, in a traditional house. At dinner will welcome you with a new national meal.
Day 11: Margedar, Tajikistan to Voru, Tajikistan
DAY 11 RUKNOBOD VILLAGE-VORU After having breakfast driving to Voru village.This village located on the altitude more tha 3000m above sea level . It's name is VORU . Also the village is considered to be one of the most ancient villages not only in Tajikistan but also in Central Asia . But still the village is not excavated by scientists in depth. The main thing which amaze every visitors is the location of the houses . Voru differ from other village for his strange and various traditions and cultures. It seems like a grandiose multistorey in the heart of skyscraper mountains . Here just WOWW . Dinner in the guesthouse .Overnight in Guesthouse.
Day 12: Voru, Tajikistan to Panjakent, Tajikistan
DAY 12 VORU-PANJAKENT After breakfast driving to Panjakent for sights. Ancient Panjakent is situated 1.5km of modern city. This Sogdian city was one of the best trading centers on the Silk Road. There is Museum of Ancient Panjakent’s finds is next to ruins of old city. You can view the 2 temples of the fire worshipping Zoroastrian, markets, wall painting, and ceramic vassals. After visiting to central muslim's mosque of the city. Coming here and not visiting to main city's Bazar is not cleverness. Dinner at the hotel with the best meal by name ‘’Palovi Panjakenti’’, overnight at the hotel.
Day 13: Panjakent, Tajikistan
DAY 13 Panjakent – JARTEPPA (25km-20min) After breakfast we continue sightseeing around Panjakent city. Then drive to Sarazm Settlement which has more than 5500 years old. Sarazm Settlement was recognized and inscribed into the UN list of world Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 2010. The other places that you can see are: Mosque of Olim-dodkhoh (XVIc); Madrasah of Olim-dodkhoh (XVIc); Minoret of Mosque of Olim-dodkhoh (XVIc); Sanjarshoh settlement. Dinner at the hotel, overnight at the hotel. Lunch at the best national restaurant. After lunch drive to Tajik – Uzbek border Jarteppa for departure.
