This tour is a complete cultural and Natural tour in 5 days. At the Naadam festival, you will be introduced to Mongolian culture. See all Naadam festival activities in 2 days. First daty Naadam festival openning ceremony and wrestling, archery, ankle bone shooting competition in Naadam main field at Ulaanbaatar. Second day is Cultural day at the horse racing valley, and stay at a Nomadic family in countryside. Then you will drive to Middle Gobi - Baga Gazryn Chuluu NP, Tsagaan suvraga and Bronze-Age rock painting in the Black Gobi desert.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Day 1: Naadam festival Praising Ceremony for 9 legged white banner. A Nine-legged white banner is a symbol of nomadic state advocacy intelligence. It is shown for citizens once in a year during a Naadam from the government palace. National wrestling champions, the best horse trainers and the best archers worship the banner when they win in the Naadam competition. The ceremony starts at 10 AM at Sukhbaatar main square. Honorary guards on horses carry the banners from the government palace to the Naadam festival stadium. The cavalries take the banner and turn the government palace from east to west as the sun rises. An audience follows the Horses to the Naadam field. At the stadium, the opening concert starts at 11 AM, ends at 1 PM. Have lunch in the Naadam field. See Wrestling in the stadium and Archery, ankle bone competition around the Naadam field. Evening transfer to accommodation.
Day 2: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to Hui Doloon Hudag, Mongolia
Day 2: Cultural day and horse riding The morning driver and guide will pick you up from the accommodation and drive to Hui 7 hudag horse riding field. Here, you will see a variety of nomadic ethnic cultural Ger (yurt) introductions, visit the Gers and have some Airag–kumus horse fermented milk. It is a traditional national drink. See some cultural dance, singing a lot of cultural activities. See the racing horses coming in the Finish zone. Evening drive to Nomadic family. Stay at nomadic family’s Ger guest house.
Day 3: Hui Doloon Hudag, Mongolia to Baga Gazariin Chuluu, Mongolia
Day 3: Baga Gazryn Chuluu National Park After having nomadic breakfast, drive to Middle Gobi desert. We will have lunch on the way in a local restaurant. And drive further to Baga Gazryn Chuluu NP. It is 60 square km mountain range in the steppe. In this rocky mountain range, we will explore a small cave and, ruined temple in a rocky valley. Enjoy Gobi lushes, flowers and desert trees. This place is appropriate to hike. Stay over in tourist Ger camp.
Day 4: Baga Gazariin Chuluu, Mongolia to Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa), Mongolia
Day 4: Tsagaan suvraga – white stupa and rock painting Morning, drive to Tsagaan suvraga. On the way, you will see folk of vultures soaring on carrion, camels and the scene of the Gobi desert. We will walk around Tsagaan suvraga. This place is nice to take a photo. Then we will get a hotel on the steppe. You can see empty endless steppe just through your window. We will have lunch here. After lunch, we will drive to Bronz-Ages rock painting. The area of this place is black, empty and remote. But still, there are some camels, sheep, goat and nomadic families. Some people say this place is like the other planet. You will discover the messages of primitive people by carved. The paintings are a lot; nature is fascinating. Drive back to camp, have dinner and relax.
Day 5: Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa), Mongolia to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Day 5: Ulaanbaatar 470km Today will be long drive back to Ulaanbaatar have lunch on the way. Evening arrive at hotel.
