👋 About Me
My name is Delgermaa (Degii) — a dedicated local tour guide with international experience. I studied Management in the Czech Republic and have traveled extensively across all 21 provinces of Mongolia, including many undiscovered and remote regions.
My passion is learning old Mongolian traditions directly from local elders. I have volunteered to live with nomadic families, helping with daily work, sharing their challenges, and understanding the balance between hardship and happiness in Mongolia’s harsh yet beautiful nature.

Eagle Hunting Festival Reindeer Herders And Gobi Deser

Try the traditional hunting lifestyle in the enormous Altai mountains. Hunting is fundamental to man’s struggle for the evolution of humankind. See how well-trained eagle hunts for fox even wolf in the wilderness. Meet the eagle trainer and hear his life story in harsh natural conditions.
The first part of the tour is visiting the Northern part of Mongolia. Reindeer herder in the Taiga area, there we will ride a horse for two days and visit Tsaatan ethnic people who live on by herding reindeer. Those people are genuinely a Mountain indigenous tribe. They live in a teepee. After the nomadic family and reindeer herders visit, we will relax on Khuvsgul lake shore.
We will drive from the North to the Western part nearly 1600 km through Zavkhan province. This is one of the not discovered places by tourists. Here we will visit 200 meters round shaped Sand dunes, inside sand dunes river stream flows. This is one of the attractive place for local Mongolians. And we will visit Ulaagchiin Har Us Nuur Lake beside the sand dunes. Sand dunes and Mountains surround this lake.
The second part of tour is Altai Tavan Bogd National Park, the Potanin glacier visit and participate Eagle hunting festival. Visit the Eagle hunter family and see their traditional lifestyle and hunting technique, training eagle tradition.
The third part of the tour is the most impressive and classical nature of remote Gobi desert of Mongolia. Gobi Altai and Bayanhongor provinces having a place of Gobi’s Great Restricted Places “A” and “B” Those places are the homeland of wild - endangered animals as Mazaalai – Gobi bear, Havtgai – wild camel, Takhi 2- wild horses, Argali- wild sheep, and ibex – wild goat, snow leopard etc. But nature is truly remote, with vast steppe and Gobi. Those places like MARS the other planet. We will visit “Eej Khairhan Mountain” – beauty of natural creatures – secret Mountain, Shar teeg – Gobi’s cliffs, and Ulaan Yvar – Cliffs. Mongolian Nomadic Cultural Ethnic Photography Tour
Starts in Ulaanbaatar, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Cultural and ethnic tour includes Mongolian Zahchin, Khalha, Kazakh, Urianhai and Tuva ethnic people in western Khovd and Bayan-Ulgii provinces. It is visiting with South Gobi region and Karakorum village. The aim of the tour is to watch nomadic Zahchin people's moving from summer place to autumn place by camel caravan. Nomadic people live in a simple way with fewer properties. They move to high Altai Mountains up to 2800 meters, over 3000 meters high mountains. Only camel could reach that rough Mountainous road. Nature is sacred and wild, it requires to do natural rituals. We will see human and natural relations, and how nomadic people live harmoniously in nature. Their moving way has disciplined tradition and special rituals with nature. Camels are trained to harsh moving from their younger age.
We will visit a Kazakh nomadic family to see the eagle hunting tradition. To introduce with Kazakh people's traditional costumes and lifestyle in Bayan-Ulgii province.
In the South Gobi desert we will visit the main landscapes as sand dunes, cliffs and Yol valley. We will visit here Mongolian main tribe Khalh family. Which has goats, sheep, horses and camels. We will see their daily lifestyle as goat milking, and horse milk.
The tour is during a Naadam celebration period, we will visit for the local village's celebration to see the horse race, wrestling and archery.

5 Days Horse Trek In Hentii Mountain Range
Starts in Ulaanbaatar, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Hentii Mountain range horse riding place has a steppe for galloping, rocks, mountains, forest, and mud, river and bushes. All kinds of natural creatures are here. The riding is for medium to upper-level of horse riders. Due to the beautiful natural scene and rough road, we will always stay in tent, not in a nomadic family. Because we will get to the top of Altan Ulgii Mountain peak 2656 meters high. The daily ride will be 25-30 km according to your wishes. This specific area has no access to vehicle, so we will carry our luggage on horses.

We booked a 12 Day Gobi Desert and 8 Lakes Trip offered by Delgermaa. She and her driver were nice and welcoming people from the start, carried our luggage all the time and cared for travel members, when they needed warm blankets, medicine or had any other request. Mongolia itself is a beautiful and vast country, filled with nature and amazing views. That said: It is an adventure trip where you sleep in nomadic round tents (Gers) most of the time. Showers, heating or the Internet are not a given in this country. So it is perfect as a digital detox trip for people, who want to dive into a totally different culture of animal herders and Nomads - something that practically does not exist in western industrial countries. Booking this trip, you will meet those people, experience their lifestyle a bit, drink their fermented camel and horse milk (very interesting taste), taste their cheeses and almost exclusively meat based dishes. You also get to see the most amazing nature from the back of horses and camels and walk on high dunes of the gobi desert. But you also need to prepare for a lot of mostly off-road driving, which is necessary and sometimes taxing in this huge and sparsely populated country. Delgermaas driver is a professional and knows how to drive his old russian Uaz-Truck well. You still need to plan in several hours of driving per day. All in all, we had a good time, where we saw the ancient culture of Dschingis Khans ancestors. With the help of Delgermaa and her associates, we could also see facettes of the country, that would have been impossible to see without them. And that was definitely an amazing once-in-a-lifetime-experience.
