Interesting trip to the area of typical live of Kazakh people in beautiful natural landscapes. So it will be amazing mix. You can really try horse back riding in the mountains, cooking with locals, trout fishing in mountain river.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Almaty, Kazakhstan to Saty, Kazakhstan
1 day: way to the Saty village. Visit the Black canyon. After lunch Visit the Kaindy lake. Walking around near of 2 km. Use the horses. Overnight in guesthouse or yurt in Saty village. In Kaindy gorge, a unique farm was built in our region. They breed Angus cows there. It is famous for its special "marble" meat. Deliveries of this meat are mainly abroad and to luxury restaurants and hotels in Kazakhstan. Movement along the gorge directly to the lake passes along a gravel road, where we cross the river twice by car. On the way there is a lot of sea buckthorn, barberry, raspberry. And also we pass the famous birch grove of Russian birch trees.
Day 2: Saty, Kazakhstan to Kolsai Lake, Kazakhstan
2 day: visit the Kolsay lake. Then visit the Saty gorge for Fishing with locals. Then master class for cooking of national cuisine for dinner. Overnight in guesthouse or yurt in Saty village. On the way to the Saty village near of the lakes there will be an amazing change of landscapes. First, at the foot of the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains there are juicy and green meadows, fields, gardens and forests.
Day 3: Saty, Kazakhstan to Almaty, Kazakhstan
3 day: way to the Charyn canyon. Walking through the canyon near of 2 km in one direction. Lunch in Uighurs cafe. Way to the Almaty city. Visit the Green bazar for gifts and souvenirs.

What to know
In winter possible to organise this trip, but lakes are frozen. Good idea for skating.
