Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Dushanbe, Tajikistan to Kalaikhum, Tajikistan
We will leave early morning, before the sunrise. We'll grab a coffee from our local gaz station and follow the most scenic route via old M41 (Pamir Highway) road. We will pass Vahdat, Fayzabad, Tavildara, and finally reach Kalaikhumb to stay there overnight in a guesthouse. It will take us 6-7 hrs with several stops for photos.
Day 2: Kalaikhum, Tajikistan to Dushanbe, Tajikistan
We will start our journey back to Dushanbe after getting enough sleep and having a breakfast. On our way back we will stop to see the modern hotel complex in Darvoz, the unique masterpiece of tajik architects and designers. On the way to Dushanbe we will stop for the scenic view of Nurek dam with the 2nd highest dam in the world (300m).
