Sabalan Mountain is destination for those who wants to explore East Azerbaijan (Tabriz), Ardabil and Gilan provinces and have great experience of Shahsevan Nomads culture along Sabalan trekking.

Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Tehran, Iran to Tabriz, Iran
Day 01: Tehran- Tabriz Morning flight to Tabriz. Have Tabriz city tour including: Grand Bazaar (UNESCO’s World Heritage), Azerbaijan museum, Kaboud Mosque and El Goli park. Tabriz overnight.
Day 2: Tabriz, Iran to Meshgin Shahr, Iran
Day 02: Tabriz- Meshkin Shahr (167 km) Drive to Meshkin Shahr and continue about 23 km to south of Meshkin Shahr and west of Sabalan Mountain at 2400 height toward Nomad Camp. Nomad Eco Camp overnight.
Day 3: Meshgin Shahr, Iran
Day 03: Meshkin Shahr tour, visit Shahsevan nomads. Have Meshkin Shahr city tour; historical site of Shikh Heydar Tomb, hanging bridge and more city excursion, 2 nights stay at the Eco Camp helps to adapt with height and get ready to ascend to Sabalan summit. Nomad Eco Camp Overnight.
Day 4: Sabalan, Iran to Meshgin Shahr, Iran
Day 04: Sablan Summit Day 4 am is good time to start the adventure trip toward Sabalan mountain by off road car, off road cars take you near western shelter about 4000 height, so hiking starts from this zone to ascend the peak, about 3-4 hours of hiking would get you to Sabalan peak to enjoy its beautiful lake, after staying in western shelter that may take about 2 hours, off road cars that are waiting for you will take you back to Nomad Eco Camp, take rest then 30 mint trip will take you to wonderful mineral hot spa to relax. Nomad Eco Camp overnight.
Day 5: Meshgin Shahr, Iran to Sarein, Iran
Day 05: Meshkin Shahr - Ardabil – Sarein (127 km) Drive to Sarein, stopover in historical site of Pirazmian. Then drive to Ardabil, visit Sheikh Safi-Al- Din complex and the Bazaar, drive 35 km to Sarein city, where is famous for its many mineral spas, have relaxed afternoon. Overnight Sarein.
Day 6: Sarein, Iran to Fuman, Iran
Day 06: Ardabil – Fuman (237 Km) Drive to Fuman via Heyran beautiful road and Astara by Caspian Sea. Visit Masouleh village, a historical village located deep in forests of Alborz mountains, Masouleh is famous for its architecture, a floral village as alleys are built on house roofs. Fuman overnight.
Day 7: Fuman, Iran
Day 07: Fuman Today is another adventure day to hike Rudkhan Castle that belongs to the Sasanian era and later rebuilt during the Seljuq era by the Nizari Ismailis. It’s located on forest highs in the beautiful village of Rudkhan in Fuman County. Fuman overnight
Day 8: Fuman, Iran to Tehran, Iran
Day 08: Fuman – Tehran (345 km) Drive to visit Gilan Rural heritage Museum, then en route to Tehran. Stop over Manjil to have excursion at olive shops, continue to Tehran. Tehran overnight.
