Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Farab, Turkmenistan to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
Welcome to Turkmenistan through the Farab border, after that we directly go to Turkmenabat to have traditional food for lunch. After lunch 4 hours drive to ancient Merv. Visiting the major sight we have dinner in a local restaurant. Then drive to Ashgabat though newly built autobahn which takes 3 hours. Night in a cosy hotel
Day 2: Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to Darvaza Gas Crater - "Door to Hell", Derweze, Turkmenistan
Early breakfast in a hotel room, after that enjoy the city tour of our beautiful white marble capital city Ashgabat. After having lunch in a local restaurant we directly go to Darvaza Gas crater , it will take 4 hours, enjoy the daytime and night view of the burning crater. Have fire cooked dinner and enjoy the night in a yurt(bed, heater, sleeping bags)
Day 3: Darvaza Gas Crater - "Door to Hell", Derweze, Turkmenistan to Dashoguz, Turkmenistan
Early morning enjoy the sunset, have breakfast and drive 6 hours to Dashoguz city, Have lunch in a beautiful restaurant and continue to the border. Hope to see you again.
