Terelj National Park - Genghis Khan Statue -1 Day Tour

Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to Gorkhi Terelj National Park, Улаанбаатар, Mongolia

There is a recreation area, restaurants, and souvenir shops. From here, you can ascent to the head of the horse using an elevator. There you have a good panoramic view of the complex area and the scenery beyond. A then continues to drive to Terelj National Park. Upon arrival at the local canteen our lunch. Then we will explore the national park and take a short drive to see Turtle Rock look like a turtle and visit the Ariyabal meditation temple surrounded by scenic mountains with massive rock formations and sit at the top of the mountain. From the top, you can enjoy the breathtaking view overlooking Terelj National Park. There is a great opportunity to ride a horse. Also, we will visit the local nomadic families to experience firsthand how people live in the countryside, a lifestyle which has not changed from centuries. We will return Ulaanbaatar capital city, will arrive at a hotel or guesthouse.
