Bishkek, Ala Archa, Too Ashuu pass, Suusamyr valley, Issyk-Kul lake, Aksay canyon, skazka canyon, Barskoon waterfalls, Jeti Oguz red rocks, Karakol, light trekking, yurt stay, horse riding, petroglyphs, eagle show, hot springs.
Day 1. Bishkek - Ala Archa - Kyzyl Oi (280km) We start our tour early morning by visiting Ala Archa national park. Walking around about 1 hour, we head to the west. In Karabalta, where I live, we'll have lunch and continue our trip to Suusamyr valley through the Too Ashuu pass (3200m). In afternoon we'll arrive at a beautiful village Kyzyl Oi, situated along the river Kokomeren, surrounded by mountains. After accommodation in a guest house you can ride on horses, fish or just walk around to observe the village.
Day 2. Kyzyl Oi - Bokonbaev (310km) After the breakfast we'll have some time for a walk or even for fishing (1-2hours). Then we drive to Issyk-Kul lake, stopping at Kochkor village for lunch. At Ak Say village we turn to the Aksay canyon which is near the lake shore. Here you can do a little trek to the view point (1hour). Then we arrive at Bokonbaev village. There are a lot of guesthouses here, even a yurt camp on the lakeside. Also you can see an Eagle show ( demonstration of a Kyrgyz traditional hunting with an eagle for 50$/group).
Day 3. Bokonbaev - Karakol (220km) Today we have a lot of activities so we have to choose from: - Boz Salkyn panoramic view - Skazka canyon - Barskoon waterfalls - Jeti Oguz red rocks - Kok Jaiyk valley -Ak Suu hotsprings Overnight in a guest house or a hotel.
Day 4. Karakol - Bishkek (500km) If it's Sunday today, you can visit the famous animal market of Karakol in the morning. Then we'll drive to the northern shore of Issyk-Kul. We turn to the mountains to Semenovka and Grigorevka gorges where you can take a walk enjoying the fresh mountain air and a picturesque view. Lunch time in Cholpon Ata. Visiting of the open air museum of petroglyphs near Cholpon Ata. Then we come back to Bishkek, visiting Burana tower before the arrival.
