Ulan.

Ulan was excellent. He went above and beyond to help me experience everything I wanted to, going well out of his way to do so. At the end of our time, he even drove me all the way to the new bus departure point in Bishkek (you know, the one that is nowhere near the center of Bishkek). He's also very knowledgeable. As someone who works in media and production, I've always got a million questions and want to know the story behind everything, and Ulan was kind enough to answer all of my questions and provide me with enormous amounts of insight and information. And on top of all that, he's great company and I enjoyed spending a few days with him.

Ulan was a great guide and a fantastic person to travel with. On top of being accommodating and extremely knowledgeable about the sites and region as a whole, he is very kind and made the whole experience as fun as possible. I`d highly recommend him to anyone!

Little bit of a late review but I have nothing but positive things to say about Ulan. Aside from being an absolute gentleman, he accommodated my requirements for what I wanted to see and did it all with very little time to spare, as in I contacted him about 5 days before I flew to Kyrgyzstan. He picked me up at the airport and we immediately set off. Important things for me to see were eagle hunters and a Kok Boru game, he even managed to speak to someone who could organize that for me as it wasn`t on the day I arrived. The car was fine and Ulan is a safe driver and easy to talk to. If and when I go back to Kyrgyzstan i`ll be sure to travel with him again. You won`t be disappointed with Ulan. Other than being an excellent guide, I left Kyrgyzstan feeling like I had a friend there if and when I return. Thanks again buddy!

Ulan was an extremely resourceful guide, organizer and driver and an amazing person to spend time with. Very communicative (he speaks French fluently and English as well), he was positive and proactive and managed to make the best out of our short trip to Kyrgyzstan (he prepared a tour for us that was easily feasible, despite the harsh mountain climate of late September) . Will definitely recommend him to anyone wanting a great Kyrgyz experience!!! Il parle parfaitement français (et il parle aussi anglais) et a toujours été très professionnel et positif, le tour qu’il a organisé pour nous était parfaitement calé sur les aléas de la saison (en particulier la balade à cheval sur Son Kul fin septembre). Ullan is a very good guide around Kyrgyzstan area. He is very kind and tries to offer always the best option to the travellers. We really had a great time during the 3 days trip in Issyk- Kul and Song Kul. We just had a issue coming back to kazakhstan, because the come back trip was not organised.

We traveled 3 weeks in August with Ulan in this beautiful country. What can you say about Ulan? I read the reviews before because it`s always your vacation that you invest with a guide and your money, well it`s more than accurate! Ulan was a very good guide, patient, flexible. He is always attentive, able to anticipate and an invaluable source to appreciate and apprehend the country. You do not feel prisoner of an agency that makes a turn mechanically, Ulan adapts to your desires as and when your advice. He took care of everything, housing, food, contacts with the local population without whom you could not have the same exchange, the language barrier being there. There is always the notion of doing one`s job well, honestly. In addition to the guide, you will find a really nice man, who speaks perfect French, who forms with his wife a couple so endearing. I can only invite you to book with Ulan and discover what constitutes one of our best trips. Fabulous adventure.
