You will hike through rural villages, stand within ancient fortresses (Dzongs), gaze upon soaring Himalayan peaks, and walk through pristine forests that blanket the land.

Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Paro International Airport, Paro, Bhutan to Thimphu, Bhutan
Touch down at Paro International Airport, where our expert guide and driver greet you with a traditional white scarf as a gesture of warm Bhutanese welcome and to mark the auspiciousness of your arrival. Start your Bhutanese immersion at the National Museum in Ta Dzong, where you’ll explore ancient artifacts and Bhutan’s unique cultural tapestry. Enjoy a scenic drive to Thimphu, stopping for photo opportunities along the way. Upon arrival in Thimphu, marvel at the imposing Buddha Dordhenma Statue overlooking south Thimphu Valley, then check in to your hotel. The remainder of the evening is yours to leisurely explore the bustling yet charming streets of Thimphu town on your own or with the guide. Day 2: Thimphu, Bhutan
After an early breakfast, you'll embark on a rewarding 2-3 hour round-trip hike to Tango Monastery, an important religious centre originally founded in the 13th century, nestled on a pristine mountainside north of Thimphu. Return to Thimphu for lunch, followed by a visit to the National Institute of Zorig Chusum to watch artisans at work. You'll then stroll through the vibrant Craft Bazaar and Farmers' Market getting insights into the food culture and preferences in Bhutanese society. If time permits, visit the National Memorial Chorten, where people from all walks of life gather circumambulating the sacred stupa. Dinner and overnight at Kuenphen Rabten Resort, Pelyang Boutique, or similar.
Day 3: Thimphu, Bhutan to Punakha, Bhutan
After breakfast, journey to Punakha via the stunning Dochula Pass (3,150m), pausing for a grand view of some of the highest mountains of Bhutan (weather permitting) amid 108 chortens and Himalayan vistas. If you enjoy hiking, you can do a 1-hour hike from Dochula Pass to the Royal Botanical Park at Lamperi through pristine forests. Rejoin the vehicle at the park and descend to lower Punakha Valley. After lunch at one of the local restaurants, visit Chimi Lhakhang, famously known as the 'Temple of Fertility' and explore the nearby vibrant villages, where you'll see the houses painted with giant phalluses on either side of the main entrance. Explore the majestic Punakha Dzong at the river confluence, then walk on Bhutan’s longest suspension bridge. Dinner and overnight at Meri Puensum Resort, Zen Punakha, or Lala Homestay. Day 4: Punakha, Bhutan to Phobjikha Valley, Bhutan
Your day begins with a scenic 2.5-hour max round-trip hike to the serene Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten, a stunning temple perched on a hilltop overlooking the lush Punakha Valley and the meandering Mo Chhu River. After the hike and lunch, transfer to the enchanting Phobjikha Valley, a vast, U-shaped glacial valley at an altitude of 3,000 meters. This protected area is famous as the winter home of the endangered Black-necked Cranes, which migrate here from November to early March from the Tibetan Plateau. Visit Gangtey Gonpa monastery and participate in a short meditation or storytelling session with a resident monk. Enjoy the Gangtey Nature Hike (5km, 2.5-3hrs), passing through forests and villages. Day 5: Phobjikha Valley, Bhutan to Paro, Bhutan
In the morning, visit the Black-necked Crane Visitor Centre, learning about the valley’s ecology and how the Phobjikha Valley and its residents play an important role in the conservation of the majestic Black-necked Cranes. Continue to Wangduephodrang Dzong, recently restored to its former glory, for a guided tour. After lunch, journey back to Paro, stop at Tamchog and visit one of the last surviving iron chain bridges dating back to the 15th century. If time permits, visit an auspicious 7th-century Kyichu Lhakhang. Overnight at Mandala Resort, Shomo Chuki Resort, or Dema Resort. Day 6: Paro, Bhutan
This day is dedicated to the iconic hike to Paro Taktsang, the legendary "Tiger's Nest" Monastery, perched dramatically on a cliff face 800 meters above the valley floor. The round-trip hike typically takes 4-5 hours, and you are encouraged to start early and go at your own pace (horses are available for hire to the midway cafeteria). A vegetarian lunch is served at the viewpoint cafeteria, as no meat is allowed due to the site's sacredness. The rewarding views of the monastery clinging to the sheer rock face are absolutely unforgettable. After descending, you'll have some leisure time in Paro town. In the evening, you'll be welcomed into a beautiful traditional farmhouse for an authentic, home-cooked local dinner, and you may even opt for a therapeutic traditional hot stone bath for an additional fee. Overnight at Mandala Resort, Shomo Chuki Resort, or Dema Resort.
Day 7: Paro, Bhutan to Paro International Airport, Paro, Bhutan
After breakfast depending on your flight departure time, you will be transferred to Paro International Airport.

The total cost is approximately EUR 55.00 per person. What to know
- This tour can be customized and run on a private basis just for you and your group. - We highly recommend booking at least a few months before the departure date so that we have enough time to ensure the flights are available. If you already have flight tickets to and from Bhutan, we can take bookings up to a week before the departure date. To process the visa, it only takes 5-7 business days. - There are only two airlines that connect Bhutan with the outside world and so securing air tickets can be difficult, especially during the months of high season. Currently, Bhutan is connected with these cities - Bagdogra, Bangkok, Delhi, Dhaka, Dubai, Guwahati, Kathmandu, Kolkata, and Singapore. We recommend you book your international flights a few months in advance especially if you plan to visit during the high season months of March to May and September to November. If you need help in arranging flights to/from Bhutan, please let us know much in advance. - After you book the tour, kindly send us clear copies of passports and headshot photos of all the participants. A biodata page including the machine-readable zone must be seen clearly. Passports should have a minimum of 6 MONTHS validity from the day you depart from Bhutan. You may also want to check the passport requirements by your next destination country after Bhutan. A copy of your e-Visa will be emailed to you once it is approved. It only takes 5-7 business days to get visa approval and it is 100 percent guaranteed as long as we receive clear passport copies of all the participants. The actual visa will be stamped on your passport upon arrival. - All participants below the age of 19 are required to be accompanied by at least one adult. - A copy of your e-Visa will be sent to you before you travel. Kindly ensure that you either carry a printed copy or have it readily available on your mobile device, as it must be presented at the check-in counter for your flight to Bhutan. Failure to present proof of a valid e-Visa may result in denied boarding. - Our guide and the driver will pick you up from Paro International Airport
